Helpful and Fun!
The event was enjoyable for sure! You were able to see everything you wanted without the hassle of a crowded store. There were plenty of knowledgable employees available to help. The yummy goodies and drinks were an added bonus!

Best way to register!
My finance and I had a great time at the registry event. The food was tasty and the store associates were friendly and helpful without being overbearing. We loved being able to wander around the store without a sales associate following us, but there was always someone nearby when we had questions. It's also nice to be able to register before the store opens to cut down on traffic. I highly recommend this event to anyone who is getting married!

Too Salesy.
I have to say my fiance and I were really looking forward to this event - my sister attended in the past and said it was wonderful! When we arrived, we were greeted by the nicest C&B employee and were set loose in the store. There were great food and drinks provided.
Our biggest (and only) complaint is the fact that there were too many sales reps attempting to push specific brands of products scattered around the store. We were bombarded by a woman who literally was trying to force us to register for a pannini press - even after we explicitly told her we were not interested! We were very interested in knives and when we needed some questions answered a nice woman was immediately there to help. She seemed to be focused on a specific brand and we then noticed the logo on her apron was not a C&B logo. I am sure a C&B employee would have been available at any time to help, but it seemed that these sales people were circling like vultures and would hop on us as soon as we looked as if we needed assistance.
After a few really aggressive sales pitches we were very turned off, got a bit of our registry complete, and decided to head home and finish online.
I told my sister about our experience and she said that hers was nothing like that - so this may be a new thing?

Great time!
My fiance went to Crate and Barrel today and we had a great time. We had not registered anywhere yet and we had no idea what to expect! Everyone working there was extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us a tour around the entire store when we got there so we knew where everything was. I was expecting just a few snack items, but they went above and beyond with all of the samples, all of which were delicious. We registered for so many items, and we got a free gift. Overall we had an amazing time and I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Great experience
my fiance and I are not on top of all this wedding stuff and have been putting off registering for as long as we could. I was a little intimidated about the whole process but was actually looking forward to going to this special crate&barrel event. It was a great excuse to get us motivated, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the demos and snacks were great and it was awesome to be in the store before it opened and got crowded! I would recommend this to any engaged couple. Thanks Crate&Barrel UTC!

An Excellent Experience
My fiance and I have registered at two other locations besides Crate and Barrel, but Crate and Barrel's registry even was our favorite experience! We had a tour of the store and were given things to sample along the way made with the Crate and Barrel electronics. The ice cream and smoothie were my favorite!! While there were ample sales associates around to help us if we needed it, they didn't "stalk" us or make us feel like we had to register for something we didn't need. We also loved that the store was empty to everyone but us and other registerants. Overall, it was fabulous and we would encourage everyone to attend! Thanks for a great time!!

Great event!
Received a warm welcome with refreshments and a tour of the store. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Snacks were a plus and got a chance to see some of the items in action. Ending up adding great items to our registry!

Queer-friendly
I was a little skeptical going with my fiance to an event like this. We are both women, and you just never know what to expect whenever going into this kind of situation as a queer couple. All the employees were completely un-phased by our presence, and they were also incredibly friendly. It was fun to walk around the store and use the scanning tool. It was so easy, and there were people around to answer questions and give advice when we wanted. Also, they even gave us (all the couples) an engagement gift! It was a very cute, short, square, glass vase. I was in such a good mood afterward, and I highly recommend this event to everyone. Who doesn't love and want just about anything from Crate & Barrel!?

Helpful, but...
I came in totally unprepared, and I guess was expecting a little more guidance. I had hoped for some sort of registry basics "checklist" to help us go through the store. It sounds like such a thing exists, they just didn't have any. So, I enjoyed it, it was a good start, and there were nice snacks- but it probably wasn't that different from wandering through the store with a scanner any other day.

Stress Free Day
My fiance and I keep hearing about how terrible registering is. I found just the opposite at Crate and Barrel. We arrived to refreshments and smiling faces! They made the experince truly stress free and actually quite fun! My fiance and I got all of our registering done during the event and enjoyed some great treats and demonstrations. I would highly recommend this event for anyone who is looking to register and have FUN at the same time!!

Great Time
It was the perfect time to registry during these Registry Events at Crate & Barrel. The whole store and staff was dedicated to us. Right when we walked into the door, we were greeted by the staff and trained on how to use the scanner. We headed upstairs and just started to scan away! There was little sandwiches, Sprinkles cupcakes, dessert, smoothie, orange juice, and coffee provided from C&B. They used some of the appliances that they sell to make and display the food items. Which was very helpful because we can see the appliances in action! All of the staff was nice and helped when we needed. At the end they gave us a little gift which was a small vase. Love Crate & Barrel!

Worth It!
Firstly, all of the employees were incredibly friendly at the SoHo store and would go out of their way to make us feel comfortable about taking things off shelves, unrolling rugs, etc. The only thing I would change is maybe offer some breakfast items? For an event that starts at 9am, we expected there would be more food. (In exchange for the food, could remove one of the "gifts" from the bag at the end.) Thanks!

Great Way to Update Registry
I got an "if I have to go, then I will" when I asked my significant other what date he would like to do the Wedding Party event at Crate and Barrel. That attitude changed within the first 10 minutes in the store. He was running around like a crazy man with that scanner! It was just us and a handful of other couples, so there was lots of space to be able to look at things, and we could walk through the store at our own pace. The sales people were amazing! I felt no pressure at all, and they provided really helpful info. No one was hovering around us, but when we were standing around looking all stupid at the blenders, someone was right there to help. This was a great experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to get their registry set up quickly and simply.

So much fun!
We went to the C&B wedding event and had a wonderful time. It was the first registry we did and so far is the only one! The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast treats were amazing.
We would recommend this event to anyone that wants to have a fun time registering for their special event.

Great Experience
We had such a fun time at the Crate & Barrel Wedding Party! It was great to be able to have free access to the store without a ton of shoppers, the staff was very friendly and the refreshments were awesome.

Great Time
This was the first registry that Matt and I attended and we had a really nice time. The event was very well thought out and we were able to register with ease. The employees they had working the event were very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. We will definitely be recommending it to others!

Very fun event and staff very helpful
It was nice to have the store closed and opened for just the couples who registered for the event. We were able to really see the products, have staff right on hand to answer questions or help with finding things and enjoy some beverages and snacks. We felt like we were VIPs and made registering for our wedding special.

Wonderful Experience
My fiance and I had a wonderful experience registering at C&B! The staff was very helpful and was there when we needed someone. They gave us space though and let us look around without bothering us. The breakfast that was provided from Zinc in Charlotte was also amazing! My fiance enjoyed being there the whole time and thoroughly enjoyed using the scanning gun :) I would definitely recommend people to register at one of their events!

So much fun!
The registry party was a blast! Not only were we spoiled with yummy food and beverages, but the staff was so helpful! They answered all of my questions about the different gadgets and helped me make decisions. I was particularly confused as to how to register for my plates and bowls, but they showed me how to get exactly what I wanted. We will be going back in the Spring to update our registry.
