At Crate and Barrel, we stand behind the quality of our products and will make things right if you are not satisfied with your purchase. We believe that we can work together with our customers to make every purchase a positive experience. Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse, but in the event you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply follow the instructions below.
We will accept merchandise returns of non-Furniture Collection items at our stores within 90 days of customer receipt. Please understand, however, that bedding items may be returned or exchanged only if in their original packaging. Furthermore, Outlet purchases may only be returned to an Outlet store. All other Crate and Barrel non-Furniture Collection merchandise may be returned to any other Crate and Barrel store (excluding Outlets) or by mail (if such item was ordered online or by phone and received by mail).
Appropriate exchanges, credits and refunds will be issued for the purchase price of the item(s) and for any taxes due to be refunded in accordance with applicable state law. Depending on the nature of the return/exchange and the presence of an original receipt or packing slip, we will issue an appropriate credit or refund in one of the following ways:
Please note: Shop Cards and Gift Cards are valid for Crate and Barrel, The Land of Nod and CB2 purchases and are not redeemable or subject to exchange for cash or a cash equivalent, except as required by applicable law.
To return an item by mail, follow the instructions on the packing slip enclosed with your order, insure the package, and mail it to the Crate and Barrel address on your packing slip. If you do not have or have misplaced the packing slip, please call us at 800.967.6696.
At Crate and Barrel, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our furniture. Attention to detail in design, materials and construction is always at the forefront. Every item in our collection is carefully inspected before leaving our distribution center. We encourage you to also inspect the furniture upon receipt of your purchase. In the event that damage occurs in transit, or if you discover any defect in manufacture, please contact us at 800.606.6462 or, for orders placed through a store, please contact the store where the sale originated within 7 days of delivery.
Likewise, if you are not satisfied with your stock furniture purchase for any reason, please contact us within that same 7-day window. (Notably, for Stock Plus and Custom upholstery items, returns and exchanges are limited to transit damage or manufacturing defect.) If contacted within that 7-day window, we will arrange a pick-up of the items and will accept a return provided the return is completed within 90 days of delivery.
Upon return, your merchandise will be inspected. Appropriate exchanges, credits and refunds will be issued for the purchase price of the item(s) and for any taxes due to be refunded in accordance with applicable state law. Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable, and return shipping or pickup fees may apply. In addition, in certain circumstances, a usage or restocking fee also may apply. Orders eligible for cancellation will be refunded in the original form of tender.
To return Basic Freight or In-Home Delivery items, please call us at 800. 237.5672 or for orders placed through a store, please contact the store where the original purchase was made within 7 days of delivery; we will accept returns within 90 days of delivery. Please follow the instructions on the packing slip enclosed in your order.
Orders eligible for cancellation will be refunded in the original form of tender.
Crate and Barrel will accept merchandise returns within 90 days of receipt. Please notify us immediately upon receipt of any damaged or defective merchandise by calling (00+1) 630.388.4555.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (00+1) 630.369.4464, and we will provide you with further instructions on where returns should be shipped and the amount you will be refunded. For International Checkout online orders, refund amounts for returned items will be credited to you by our global partner Borderfree in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original order.
