Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too big. This pot was too big for me and it wasn't triple ply All Clad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Pot ever I love the versatility of this pot. I have used it for making homemade caramels, to stews and pasta. You can steam vegetables with it while boiling something underneath! I always love the ALL Clad quality too. I've had my pot for years and it still looks brand new.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from excellent as expected I bought this cookware a month ago. First of all, I was impressed by how fast the delivery was (within 3 days). Second of all, the products are as good as I expected. I have used it 4 or 5 times, mostly to steam food. My dad also borrowed it to cook some Asian noodles. In short, it worked great! Also it was easy to wash. The only minor issue is that since the size is big, it can be very heavy once you fill it up with water and other stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what was needed I purchased htis a few weeks ago. It is my first All Clad piece, which will lead to others. It is so big, you can cook anything in it. Pasta is easy, as is steaming veggies. I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from such a useful product! This is one of the best purchases we have made! My husband complained that we did not have a big enough pot for him to use for cooking for some time...until we got this!! No excuses now and my husband has been producing amazing stews and soups out of this, large amounts so we can freeze portions as well. He absolutely loves it, it's easy to use, easy to clean and very durable. It's been a great addition to our kitchen!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase This pot was a great purchase. I use it when cooking for a crowd or making a big batch of soup or a stew. It also steams veggies beautifully.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most important potq This is the most important pot you can own! it's great for making pasta and beans and steaming veggies. I make everything in it because you drain the food right into the pot - illiminates the extra step of straining. this is important when you cook a lot and have many items on the stove at once- also if you like to put up veggies from your garden in summer it''s great for blanching- straight from boiling water to ice water. i love this pot. i have the brushed stainless - the wear shows less.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Skip It It took 45 minutes to boil water to make half a box of pasta. The insert rests so high above the pot that it makes it totally useless for cooking pasta.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Many uses! This pot is great for everything from boiling pasta, steaming vegetables, cooking lobster, to making a big pot of stew or soup to last all winter!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works, but design not best I was super excited to receive a pasta pot as a wedding gift, but after putting to use for pasta I'm really quite disappointed. It takes so much more effort and water to use just for a simple night of pasta. The pasta strainer sits so high in the pot that you have to fill the large base of the pot almost to the top with water to be able to have the pasta submerged in water. It just seems to be a ridiculous amount of water needed to cook pasta. I no longer use it for pasta as it's so much easier to use regular pot.For steaming however, I like it. Worked great on my tamales!Overall the pot is very big and not very useful so wouldn't suggest as a great buy, especially for the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from big! I didn't realize the amount of space between the inserts. When making stocks, it requires more water than I am used to using. I am looking forward to some great crab boils, though!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too Large for Two... I registered for this item online without looking at it in the store - I didn't realize how large the pots were, and am dismayed at how long the pot takes to boil water for pasta (on a gas stove), and how much extra water needs to be used because the pasta strainer is a few inches off the bottom of the pot. I found it much faster to use a smaller pot to cook my pasta, and much easier in clean up (because the multi-cooker is so bulky it's awkward to clean in our sink). As a newlywed living in a small-ish apt, the multi-cooker takes up too much storage, and I use it too infrequently for it to have been a valuable purchase. Perhaps in the future, with a larger family, I might use it more often.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made in China The pot is a great size and has the right accessories, but it's made in China. For the price, i would have expected better quality.
