One of the most established and collected artists in Provincetown, Massachusetts, TJ Walton has developed a significant following as a New Modern painter. As such, she joins a number of like-minded artists who prefer to learn their craft by trial and error rather than prescribe to any particular school of art. Creating pieces that rely as much on the viewer’s response as her vision, Walton has developed a strong following in New England.
A stroll through Provincetown will find her work in many local establishments as well as in the collections of the Provincetown Art Association and Museum and the Cape Cod Museum of Art. She also has exhibited her work in a number of national exhibitions. Walton recently celebrated her 20th year running her own namesake gallery in Provincetown.
