Luscious Bedroom Decor
I purchased both the Merimekko Duvet Cover and Sheet Set. I expected to be pleased but was unprepared for how breathtaking these look. The color! Wow. It just fills the room with a glow. The leaves on the duvet cover are huge and so very striking. The leaves on the sheets are a smaller scale, so you can appreciate the design while in bed. The thread count is superior, too. The fabric is sateen and very, very soft. I'm so glad I made the purchase!

Marimekko Sheets Review
I loved the Marimekko design and colors but the quality leaves much to desire. I washed sheets and pillowcases as instructed with cold water and gentle cycle. One pllow case became ripped and frayed at the seam and I had to restich the seam. This was some thing I did not expect of this product. I was extremely disappointed because of this.

Biloba duvet and pllow covers
I ordered these after seeing them in the catalogue. I love the beautiful leaf pattern but found the fabric to be too thin for my taste. The colors are true and vibrant, but the set just didn't go with the color of my bedroom walls.

Beautiful / Resilient
My husband loves the pattern on these sheets/so do I. They wash beautifully and are extremely soft and hold their bright colors very well.
What I would change about this product is: I would make the standard size pillow cases a bit longer. the ends of the pillow show. Other brands of pillow cases I have bought are usually longer and completely cover the pillow's length.
Also: the pattern is not printed on the back of the flat sheet which is unusual for expensive bedding. So, you can't fold the top of the flat sheet over without seeing the white backing.

soft and soothing
I collect interesting items that feature ginkgo elements so when a friend pointed out these sheets I was intrigued and only had to decide between the blue and white and the golden version. I decided on the golden version because more matching pieces that worked in our bedroom were available. Thus far I am most happy with this purchase and hope more items featuring the wonderous ginkgo will be available in the future.

Sparkle cotton!
Marimekko is known for beautiful textiles. This comforter is beyond exquisite. The colors shimmer and reflect light, changing as the source changes. The pattern is simple and original. The ginkgo leaves are cleverly reduced on the pillow shams which makes the set unique from other bed ensembles.
