Beautifully soft texture
These sheets and pillowcases are so soft and comfortable. The fabric remains cool and makes sleeping much more comfortable during hot summer nghts. The design of the configurations is kind of fun and relaxing, along with the sheen of the fabric makes this a very cool, relaxing sheet set. I will definitely purchase more of this type.

Lovely pattern, low quality fabric and finish
This duvet has a lovely pattern, but once I got it home it was disappointing. It did not meet my expectations of this brand and price point. The fabric has a low thread count and is flimsy. You can see through it. There is a horizontal ladder across the middle of my cover ( 2 or more threads are missing in the weave, so do check yours out carefully before you launder; I wish I had done so!) The closure is rudimentary--no flap to conceal the buttons, as one might expect in a quality duvet cover; no edging, over-stitching, or piping along the edges, so it does not look quite finished on the bed. Fabric wrinkles easily, and does not lie crisp and neat.. Also, dimensions do not exactly match American standard sizes (the cover is longer than the comforter), so duvet swims around uncomfortably. There are tabs inside the cover, though, so with some investment of time and effort, you could figure out a way to secure the corners of your duvet to the cover in a way that still allowed you to remove the cover for laundering.

Beautiful
I purchased this set in king and I'm in love. The quality is very good and the printed details look so beautiful in my new bed. Feminine not girlie. My husband liked my purchase.

LOVE These Sheets!
I ordered these sheets because they're so beautiful and would really brighten up my bed. THEN I read the awful reviews about them being scratchy. However, I received the sheets (felt soft to me), washed them (cold, gentle cycle required - saves energy), and put them on the bed. I did NOT find them to be scratchy, even though you guys put that idea in my head and I was waiting for the itchiness to begin. I'm SO happy with them and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Beautiful sheets
Love this design. Colors true to website photos. I haven't slept on them yet and am a bit concerned now that I read the reviews about them being scratchy. Rating is only based on appearance. Hope I can return if necessary, but love them at first sight.

Love it
I love Marimekko textiles and these are no exception. They are comfortable, a lovely design, and have a soothing quality I need in my bedroom. I feel very at peace lying on them. Also I want to give Crate and Barrel props for unbelievably fast delivery: I got them less than 24 hours after I ordered them. Overall I am very happy with them.

Very happy with this duvet
I purchased the duvet and shams and they look lovely on my bed. The colors are beautiful. I am still waiting for the sheets (popular item) but anticipate them to be just as soft and comfy as the duvet.

Beautiful Dreams
My 29 year old daughter recently purchased her first home and she loves your products. I bought her the
Marimekko Lumimarja Celery Duvet and shams for her bedroom. Not only do they make the room feel and look beautiful, they add a peaceful organic touch. When I laid on her bed wrappped in your bed linens, I got lost in thier organic colors and comfort of the fabric. Her bedroom is painted in a very soft green color and the celery color just really compliments the room. It's like bringing a bit of nature, fresh air and all into the room. She and I both love they way your bedding has made her bedroom her favorite place to be in her new home. My daughter also just became engaged and guess what store she wants to use for her wedding register. CRATE & BARREL! I love that my daugheter is so happy. Thank you!

Pretty but thin
I purchased a set of Duvet cover, shams and king sheet set.
The fabric print is very pretty and just as expected.
The fabric however is very thin and wrinkles very easily. An example is that you can see the fabric of the pillows through the cases. So if your pillows, duvet etc are not pure white you will need to buy liners.
In addition the fabric wrinkles very easily. If you plan to use the duvet cover for decoration only and take it off the bed each night, it will continue to look great, however if you plan to sleep under it, expect to wake up to wrinkles.

beautiful design - rough feel
I love Marimekko designs - and the sheets LOOK terrific. However, I found the fabric weave a bit rough - not as smooth and soft as I would expect from Crate and Barrel.

It fits
The fitted sheet is big enough for mattresses with pillow tops. Most beds now are super thick and I'm glad to see these sheets accommodate to the increased height. I wish the flat sheet were a little bigger. It's long enough from top to bottom, but a little short from side to side. I would have given it 5 stars if washing and drying were easier. The instructions require you to dry on low and remove promptly. I still had wrinkles and that required ironing; blah.

Do not buy
These sheets are so lovely; I was delighted to buy them during the latest C+B bedding sale. I couldn't be more disappointed. After one gentle washing, they became rough and scratchy. I couldn't even sleep on them. Clearly the Marimekko brand has been seriously compromised in its C+B line of sheets. I will return these to the store ASAP.

Lovely duvet
I am thrilled with my Lumimarja duvet. I searched for a white duvet with a little pop of color for months. The colors on this set are lovely, a brownish grey and a really fun chartreuse look great against the clean white. I was a little worried about the linens when they arrived; they looked stiff and shiny. But, once they were washed, the shine was gone. The duvet is soft and cozy.

Bad sheets
I just purchased these sheets and am sending them back. Thin, shiny material. Scratchy and uncomfortable to sleep on. A huge step down from previous C & B bedding. Very disappointing.

Not worth the price
Having owned Marimekko sheets, I expected these to be the most comfortable sheets ever. The design is great and they can blend in with just about any color but they are not comfortable sheets. They are sateen, which in my experience is a very comfortable material, however these are scratchy feeling. For sheets there is nothing worse than that. After washing I hoped they would soften but that did not happen. Given the price (even on sale!) they are not worth it. I don't know what the company changed from their earlier sheet sets but they are heading in the wrong direction!

Love this bedding!
My husband and I got the duvet cover and 2 shams recently, using a gift card given to us for Christmas, and they are gorgeous! We paired them with our existing white sheets and the combo is lovely. They're very soft and comfy, as was our last duvet cover, also by Marimekko from Crate and Barrel. The only reason we swapped them out was to refresh our room with a more subtle, white color palette. The old duvet was yellow with white vines (not available anymore, it seems) and it has now found a new home in our guest room. We've had it since our wedding 1.5 years ago and it still looks and feels brand new, so I expect the same quality with the Lumimarja set too.
