from Handsome! I really love the look of this chifforobe. It a shade of wood that's not too dark or too light, and feels fresh and modern. We bought this for extra closet and drawer space for our new baby. Unfortunately when it arrived and I opened the drawers I smelled a strong glue smell, most likely from the drawer joints being too freshly put together and their not having enough time to off gas before delivery (and the fact as a pregnant women my nose is very sensitive to chemical smells). I really wish factories would "hold" the furniture for a few days to stabilize, or maybe next time I'll just try requesting it. We easily solved the issue by keeping the drawers open and leaving it alone in a closed room with the windows open and within a week, no lingering odor at all. Thank goodness! It would have broken my heart to have to send back, since it's exactly what we'd been looking for. All in all, really do recommend!

from Good Purchase I bought this for my husband to expand his clothes storage. It is very attractive and blends with our oak bedroom suite. The hanger bar, however, is not particularly useful because for mens shirts, the bottom shelving would have to removed. I would have liked an option for an additional shelf. All in all, however, I would buy it again.

from Solid and Stylish Storage Option We've had the Sierra bed for a few years and decided it was time to get another piece from the collection. This was selected over the dressers for the extra storage space. Overall we are very happy with the piece. It is of similar construction to the bed (if you have that). The top is the same finish as the frame section of the bed, and the front is similar to the headboard. This is exceptionally heavy (the 2x C&B movers had trouble getting it upstairs). It includes a mounting bracket to keep it from tipping, and on my carpet floor that is a must and I anchored it to a wall stud. With ALL drawers extended (and empty) it would almost fall forward under its own weight. I’m not sure what weight the tie they include is rated to hold, but practically speaking you would never have all drawers open anyway as you could not access them, so this is a minor quibble. Solid construction, good looks, and precision woodworking make this an excellent piece. There are only a few things I would note that could be improved or are lacking. The first is the clothes bar, as previously described in a review. There is very little room under it, so for most clothes I would not see utility in having it and we currently have it removed. Not a big deal, the top section is great for blankets or spare pillows. The second note is the lack of adjustable feet on the front face. If you were able to raise feet an inch or so it would do a great deal to prevent the piece rocking forward when open. On hardwood floors this may be less of an issue, but on a moderately thick carpet like I have every bit helps. Finally, the tip-prevention mount… the pre-drilled holes were drilled wrong (or the bracket that was included was wrong). The holes were spaced at a different distance on the bracket vs. the pre-drilled holes, and as it was drilled, you would see the bracket sticking up at the back of the piece. I pre-drilled my own holes a little lower so you could not see the bracket, but I STRONGLY encourage people to check this before the movers leave if you are not able/comfortable fixing this yourself.
