The Story

A full moon of gunmetal black quietly references Ming dynasty design in a striking storage option, crafted clean and uncluttered in a warm shiitake-toned walnut. Intriguing hardware, distinctive hinge-panel construction and inset base trim add subtle Asian-inspired style points. Hex-head pin unlocks flanking doors on armoire and top to store bedroom linens or dinnerware on adjustable shelves. Below, curled pulls decorate two drawers on wooden glides. Stunning armoire also stars in the entryway or in the den as a hideout for entertainment equipment. Marie Yee design is crafted with traditional wood-on-wood joinery techniques—without the use of nails or screws.

Beijing Armoire with Top is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The must-have of our living room We noticed this piece a while ago and decided to purchase in October 2014, we weren't sure how it would affect the room, turns out to be the centerpiece of the room! We have 2 story ceilings so the extra top piece added height, but in some ways is unusable for storage unless you're 6'2" or taller. A very well made piece that has a ton of elegance and style. It is robust and hides away plenty of things you don't want seen among guests.
