Rated 4 out of 5 by from Everything I had hoped for, but. ..,, I purchased 10 Bennett dinner plates, 10 salad and 10 bread and butter plates. I bought only 2 high bowls and 1 low bowl to try out. These were to replace earthen wear dishes I had for about 7 years. The older dishes were very heavy and tended to chip. It was a chore to put them in the cabinet because of their weight. These Bennett plates are beautiful , finely made, and LIGHTWEIGHT! They are a pleasure to use , easy to clean and seem very sturdy. The high bowls are ample for soup or cereal. I plan to buy more of them. The low bowl is beautiful but too large for individual use. I use it as a serving bowl.My one complaint is in stacking the bowls the bottoms are rough and so they don't slide on each other easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and durable! I purchased a set of six 4-piece place settings about 3 months ago to use as our everyday dishware. While the dishes look delicate and almost translucent, they are actually quite sturdy and have held up to the inevitable "banging and clanging" of daily use and cleaning. The dishes have a nice subtle curve to help keep food on the plate, but this makes them slightly wobbly when stacking them in the cabinet; however this is a very minor issue. The bowls are an excellent size (can hold an entire can of soup) and the handle on the mug is wide, sturdy and comfortable. We were also concerned with staining from coffee and tea, but have had no issues at at all...even with leaving coffee in the mug overnight! Beautiful high quality set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, yet stylish After 40 years of marriage and lots of different dinnerware - we wanted something simple, yet stylish for our new home. The Bennett collection was perfect - love the low bowl - perfect for pasta or entree salads. The flat plate shapes load nicely in the dishwasher. Very versatile collection - we mixed round and square pieces.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful, but be gentle! We've been using the Bennett dishware for more than a year now. They are gorgeous dishes and we really do enjoy them. A few notes -- because there is no lip on the plate, if you're not careful, food may slide around or slide off the plates. Not a significant problem since the plates are large and there is room for the food to move around a bit, but something to note. Additionally, be careful if hand washing or rinsing. We've had one salad plate chip and broken a dinner plate. Still, in all, they're holding up great to normal wear and tear and do just fine in the dishwasher if you load it properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple yet beautifully elegant! I bought the Bennett dishes after looking for simple, yet elegant everyday dishes.I wanted all white dishes so the food could be the 'highlight'. These definitely do just that! They are everyday dishes, as well as great dishes for a dinner party. They're also durable, and can easily go in the dishwasher.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pleased I wanted an elegant but functional and affordable porcelain set in a 'warm' white - as opposed the 'grey based' white which I see around a lot in high end stores and to me looks grubby - with large (12oz +) cups and saucers. This has fit the bill perfectly and with 2 young kids and poor dishwashing loading skills these remain unchipped and unbroken. The only thing I would say is that the bowls are very big - the pasta bowls are huge but they work for us because you can put a normal amount of food on them and have a wide margin which looks pretty but the cereal bowls are not used much as they are so big. I bought 4 sugar bowls instead and we use those for ice cream/yogurt/cereal ... they are a tad too small but better than the cereal bowls which are way too big. Also, I did not buy the mugs as they are very narrow looking but the teacups and saucer are perfect for my tea or coffee and I am pleased with the teapot and jug also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful White Dinnerware This beautiful white bone china dinnerware met all of my expectations! It was packed so well, I couldn't believe it. I have been using it since November, 2014 and love it! It goes in the dishwasher with no problem. Although it is a bit cream versus stark white, it goes with all of my tablecloths. I purchased a set of 8, and like the fact that it is open stock. I may purchase more, if I need it. I would definitely recommend it to a friend!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cracked in the microwave The plate was in the microwave for less than a minute when I heard it crack. I bought a full set so now I have to use it and replace the plate. I'm very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple and elegant We bought these dishes about 3 weeks ago. At first sight we were worried they would be too fragile and chip at the slightest bump, but after a few rounds in the dishwasher and regular use, they've held up well. They are simple and elegant, great for every day or entertainment!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More durable than they seem We've been using these as our everyday dishes for about 18 months. They are so delicate and beautiful, and yet surprisingly durable. We aren't especially careful and haven't broken a dish yet. The exception to this may be the mugs - 4 out of our 6 have been chipped, and we continue to use them heavily. Haven't noticed problems with glaze or other manufacturing issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great everyday dinnerware We registered for and received these plates for our wedding and have been using them for the past 9 months or so. We loved the warm white color and the style of the collection, and having a low bowl as part of the set was a must for us. After registering, I read some of the negative reviews about uneven bottoms and glaze issues and wondered if we'd made a mistake. I even went back to the store to check out the plates there and to see if there was a different set I liked better, but decided to stick with the Bennett. Ultimately, my concerns were unfounded. Perhaps the uneven bottoms are a bigger issues with the square plates (we have round), but we have not had any problem with rocking plates. No, they are not perfectly level, but that is to be expected with a mass-produced product for this price. We do not use thick placemats yet have never found the plates to be noticeably uneven when in use. As for glaze problems, I have not gone over the set with a fine-toothed comb, but also have not had any issues stand out to me. I'm pretty Type A and tend to notice these things, so I can't help but wonder if the other reviewers are expecting Wedgwood-type quality in a C&B product. My husband and I have not yet had any problems with breakage, chipping, or cracking (and we're not that gentle with them), so overall we're very happy with these as elegant everyday dishes. My only negative comment is that they do tend to get VERY hot in the microwave much more quickly than our previous dishes (which were stoneware, so it may just be a difference in materials).
