Rated 5 out of 5 by from More durable than they seem We've been using these as our everyday dishes for about 18 months. They are so delicate and beautiful, and yet surprisingly durable. We aren't especially careful and haven't broken a dish yet. The exception to this may be the mugs - 4 out of our 6 have been chipped, and we continue to use them heavily. Haven't noticed problems with glaze or other manufacturing issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bennett Dinnerware About 1 year ago, I purchased several of the round dinner plates and salad plates. I have had big problems before with chipping and breaking with other white dinnerware sets, so I wanted to try daily use of these before committing to a dozen plates. I am happy to say that these are very durable! Not a single chip or crack, and I used them a lot. I just bought the rest of the plates. They are not all exactly the same; some are a bit thicker than others; some show minor glaze imperfections. Nothing off-putting; just be aware. I love them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Basic Set My husband and I registered for this set for our wedding. I loved the color and the clean lines of the plates. I looked over each piece for glazing issues and did have to return a couple plates because there were some rough spots. Other than that I love the pieces we have and have found them to be very versatile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this line! I absolutely love this line. Very expensive for everyday use so I am building little by little.I just bought these low bowls and find that I use them more than the dishes so far. Great for so many things!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good every day dinnerware I love how thin this dinnerware is. However, the thinness caused 2 mugs and one plate to just randomly crack on their own. So, while it looks good, I suppose it is inexpensive for a reason.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Dishes! We put these dishes on our wedding registry and absolutely love them! They are made out of bone China and very durable :) The dishes are beautiful, elegant and go with anything because of their color you can pair them with anything. I also love the color they are not too white they are a perfect off white color. They are modern and sleek while also being expertly crafted out of China. Me and my husband absolutely love them!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful plates with flaws Like some other reviewers said, the square plates do not sit evenly. I really wish C&B enforces stricter quality standards so that pieces with glazing issues, air pockets, etc. are not sold at the stores. Also I wish C&B works with a vendor that can produce products with a basic quality such as the leveled bottom, even if it results in a little bit higher price. This product line has everything else going - the design, color, etc., just every pieces need to meet the standards. What is the point in promising high then letting your customers down with inconsistent quality?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes everything taste better! I bought the espresso and regular & large coffee cups to complement our old Aspen dinnerware, and these are now my favorite cups for coffee, cappucinos, and lattes any time of day. Simple and affordable elegance in white.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gorgeous luminosity Lovely translucent dishes just as bone china should be! So far they have proven to be durable and fit well into our cabinets and dishwasher.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size and style I have searched a bit for the right everyday bowl that would work for our style of cooking, which includes mostly salads, rice dishes, pastas, stews, and entrees with sauces, and finally arrived at the answer with the Bennett Low Bowl. I bought one just to test it out after returning others that were too deep, too bulky, or too big. This is just the perfect size and form, and fits in the dishwasher nicely. The style is simple and elegant and I will be ordering more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor quality; flaws on nearly all plates. I really like the design of this dinnerware, but the quality is extremely poor and the quality control apparently non-existent. The plates have the kind of flaws you'd see on remaindered products that come with deep discounts. They have small pits from air pockets, some have black particulates that got caught in the glaze and protrude like little blackheads. Perhaps the most unforgivable flaw is the glazing error I found on the few of them, in which the porcelain is bunched up along a small length of the edge, and doesn't even cover the entire rim. In other words, rough and uncoated areas of the rim. Finally, as noted by some others, the plates also tend to be a bit wobbly. A big disappointment all around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bennet Low Bowl I recently replaced a pile of our mismatched plates with a dozen of these bowls. They're the perfect size and shape for the way I cook and serve food for my family -- not a bowl but not exactly a plate either -- we eat healthy, one-dish style meals focused on lots of vegetables and grains, with a small amount of protein on top.  I'm very happy with them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, but be careful Have the square plates, salad plates and small and large platters.  The platters are awesome and really compliment the plates while serving.  1 problem we discovered with the plates, as we use them everyday, is that you need to be careful when cutting food and where it is on your plate.  Put pressure anywhere off the center of the plate even slightly toward the edge of the plate while cutting a steak for example and the plate collapses to the side which results in a mess, embarrassment for guests.  This took us a while to get used to.  Wondering if anyone else has had this experience?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this dinnerware, so elegant! I recently upgraded my dinnerware to a full set of Bennett - three sizes of plates, both bowls, even the sugar bowl for a mini size bowl. It is lovely and elegant. I love the translucency of the bone china, and so far it's been extremely durable (it's even survived my dogs who went after plates I accidentally left on the counter!). The lines are clean and go with everything, so I am using it with a variety of serving dishes. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bennett dinnerware We bought the complete set - including serving bowls, large platter, sugar, creamer. They are beautiful, we use for everyday. We do love the set and do not regret the purchase. Each dinner plate, saucer, bread & butter plate do not sit completely flat and when placed in the cupboard some look thicker than others. When in use (for any of the above peices) we use placemats and that corrects the unevenness.
