Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great planters, modern looking I bought these almost a year ago, and they still look like new. They are placed out on a patio, exposed to the elements and are holding up well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not attractive I bought this because it was the only planter that was this tall and narrow. I have two of them flanking my door on my rather narrow front porch. After I got them home, I realized how stark they are. That was my own fault, since the photo pretty clearly depicts the item. One of them is a little uneven on the bottom, and even though I weighted it with rocks as instructed, it wobbles. I am very disappointed with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted. I bought the planter on August 31 and paid $20+ in shipping. The next day there was free shipping on this product. I would have waited to order it if I had known the free shipping next day. The planter is all I expected and will give it to my daughter for Xmas. I would appreciate a refund on the shipping.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from RUSTED after a year!!! Look great and they are cheap, but after a year rust showed up. Will have to replace soon and that will be hard as I have large vines growing from these. I wish I had bought something more expensive that will last! I should ask for a refund!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A wonderful modern look! We recently purchased three of the tall planters for our courtyard space at our newly constructed contemporary desert vacation home. It was very easy to add rock to the bases for added weight. They look great in our space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love! I bought these two weeks ago and put them in my front walk way with the exact flowers as the picture. I have had numerous compliments. Love the planters and the easy to manage flowers. Thanks for the great product and curb appeal idea!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money! I bought these planters last year. They were kept indoors for all of Fall/Winter. Brought them out couple of wks ago and they are falling apart. I don't think they will make it to another season. So disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and modern We wanted to get these planter for a long time, I was a little hesitant due to some of the reviews, I'm so glad we finally decided to take the risk and got them last month, wow they are so stylish ...I love them!.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wobbly and rusty... Hubby bought four planters (two tall and two medium) to flank the front door. They have rusted and stained the pavers. Even with weights inside the planters, they topple on windy days. Gorgeous but not worth the money because they don't last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish and functional These are extremely modern and attractive planters that also function well. You do need to place something heavy in the bottom to secure them. But you will get tons of compliments. Very happy with them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor quality planters I bought these beautiful planters a few years ago. Sadly, the bottom has completely rusted out of one already and the others are well on their way. This product is NOT worth the money (even if beautiful).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I bought three of these in April, and they have been sitting out on an open deck for six month, and still look great They have been exposed to Texas weather, quite humid, and a few torrential downpours, no issues with rusting, or tipping over as we did add quite a bit of weight to the bottom with rocks. Lots of compliments on them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NO! I bought this planter this spring. $124 which included postage. Even with the heavy weights I put in the bottom it still tips over in the wind. Then the paint comes off where it hits the cement or steps. My plan was to buy a couple more had I liked it. I would not recomend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, wider than advertized Nice planter. It's 14" wide on each side, not 12.5" ad advertized. Not a big deal, but this is going in the bathroom and space is at a premium, so the width really meant something to me. A small disappointment, but I'll get use to it. Other than that, it's a quality planter, comes with the insert, plug, rubberized feet, all as promised. You'll love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dramatic! Bought two of the tallest planters for placement next to our entry doors. Filled with bright trailing flowers and plants. These are attention-getters for sure. Great quality. Love the plant insert pots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from gorgeous planter I bought this planter in the spring and it looks fabulous on my front porch. I have a e story foyer and needed height in my entry way. I love the insert which avoids having to fill the whole thing with dirt. I would strongly recommend this statement piece. Well worth the price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great planter! We purchased the smaller planter to go on our covered porch. We love the simple clean lines and it looks great with our bungalow style home. We haven't had any problems with rust but it is not directly exposed to the elements. Would highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great planter love the planter! I also did put rocks in the bottom and placed on my screen porch, since my front porch is very windy and this seems to get top heavy with the plants and dirt weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Buy I got 2 of the tall planters and am very happy with them. I added rocks to the bottom so they don't blow away and they are very sturdy and still look brand new after a summer of use. I like the contemporary style that fits in with our style. Have received many compliments from our neighbors. Love!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Followup to my earlier review I was concerned about these rusting...and sadly, I've been correct. I had kept the shorter one inside a waterproof storage unit. However, even humidity takes its toll on these. Both units are rusting along all the seams. At best, I figure that I'll get no more than two to three years use out of them before the rust is to pervasive.I've begun researching other sources of a similar-shaped planter...and the ones I've found are made of a cement composite, and some that are made out of fiberglas. They are a bit more than the C&B units, but considering the potential longevity, the additional cost might be warranted. Perhaps C&B will be able to source out a similar planter for next year that avoids the rust problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great! I bought this tall bronze planter to accent a corner in my family room. It looks terrific and fits well in the room. I like that it accommodates a regular size plant but adds height to the corner. I did have to add weight (bricks) to the bottom so it wasn't too top heavy. It is very stable now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Crumbling in 6 months I placed two of these planters flanking the entry to my home in July. The portico of my home is sheltered from the elemants, rarely even getting wet from rain. Therefore i have kept artificial greens in them since September. The edges of the planters are completely rusted, and the "bronze" coating is pealing off in sheets! I am very confused considering the lack of exposure to the elements. Barely ever getting wet, a very mild winter so far, and never having been exposed to snow. I'm VERY annoyed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money I bought 2 of these pots and will be returning both of them in a few days....not thrilled about having to unplant them at all! There are 2 issues with these pots..1) The little rubber pieces (feet) at the bottom of the pots fall out everytime I move the pots and since I followed directions and used sand, I now have sand all over my front porch. However the greater issue is that after only 3 weeks my pots are both rusting at the bottom. I know these pots weren't overally expensive, however I do expect better quality from Crate & Barrel. All around the most annoying situation ever!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Striking, but concerned about rust I ordered one each of the tall and medium planters. There is a label inside of the upper planter liner recommending that sand or gravel be placed in the bottom to stabilize them. I chose to find two plastic flower pots that fit within the square bases and didn't press against the sides of the planters. I filled the flower pots with fast drying cement and sank a large hook into the cement so that I can easily reach inside and pull them out when I need to store them away for the winter. This solution took care of the tipping issue. On the down side, both planters have four clear plugs that sort of act like "feet" or drainage plugs for the planter. There is also one at the bottom of the upper lift-out liner section. The problem is that every time you just barely move the planter base (remember, it has weight from the dirt and the stabilizing element), the supplied clear rubber plugs/feet come off, exposing the openings at the bottom to moisture, etc. And since the planter is bronze coated, I'm sure that the slightest movement on a brick or patio surface is removing the bronze finish and exposing the iron surface.I would assume that had I filled the planters with sand, the plugs would have probably gotten pushed out, and I would have had sand everywhere...once again, the cement filled flower pots were a good solution. My only concern is that since these are made of iron, they may start to rust. Even if the plugs are left in, there's a chance for rust. I really wish the manufacturer would have made the planters out of bronze-finished aluminum or some other material that would have reduced the chance of rust.I also wish they had supplied more durable plugs/feet that would have not been so flimsy...something that would truly act as "feet" and elevate the bottom slightly above the ground, and collectively act as a leveling "cushion" as well. I'll be on the lookout for something to replace the flimsy clear plugs/feet that came with these.Other than that, the planters are really attractive.
