Great value
We have had these chairs/barstools for over five years and have proven to be a great purchase. Solid construction and great finish- they look and feel as good as new. We are ordering additional chairs for a commercial project we are doing because of our experience with them. Thank you Crate and Barrel!

Chilly chairs
I bought 6 of these chairs for my kitchen table. Be ready for a cold seat. I may need to get the cushions. After unpacking, I noticed that 2 of the chairs were a bit wobbly. I called C&B customer service and they immediately began the process to remedy the problem. I get to keep the 2 wobbly chairs until 2 new ones can be sent (backordered until February), and then I can just return the 2 wobbly ones in the box at C&B's expense. I was very pleased with this arrangement...even more pleased a couple of days later when I received a gift card in the mail for my trouble!

Chair Person
I had been looking around for this style and was so happy to find it at such a great price and quality. They add a modern touch to our rustic kitchen. Our appliances are all stainless steel and these chairs fit right it.

I love the look of the chair. I have 6. They are very cold in the winter, I bought the black seat cushions to go with them. As for the welding marks, they are very visible, but I don't mind them. Chair is easily scratched if you have buttons on the back of your pants.

Great basic chairs
After reading the reviews I almost did not buy these chairs but they were the look I was going for and the style I wanted so I decided with Crate & Barrel's return policy I would try them out. SOOOO GLAD! They look great - not wobbly at all (I bought 5) - I have 3 boys and they are easy to clean and give my kitchen table the clean, modern look I was looking for. I have not had any issues with the comfort and we sit at the table very often. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the chairs!

ZERO low back support
Before I ordered this chair, my partner warned me that the design didn't look ergonomically correct. But it looked so good pictured with the Reese Compact Desk (which I love and recommend) that I took the risk. Bad move. After sitting in the Delta Side Chair for about an hour, working at my laptop, my back began to really hurt. No surprise- when you look at the pictures you'll see that it offers no lumbar support and the lower portion of the back of the chair is actually concave. It's OK to sit in for a few minutes, but if you plan to use it as a desk chair for extended periods of time, prepare to feel serious pain.

Wobbly Chairs
For some reason, 3 of the 4 chairs that we ordered were very wobbly. They wobbled more than an off-balance table in a cheap restaurant. Crate & Barrel was great about sending out replacement chairs, but the replacements wobbled as well. These chairs are very pretty, but the wobbly-ness detracted from the overall functionality.

poor quality
I am sorry to say how disappointed I was when my order arrived. This chair is wobbly.
"Sleek finish" - definately NOT. The chair has ugly weld marks and my overall impression was "cheesy". Not up to crate and barrel standards at all. Don't waste your money on this garbage.

Good Product, Good Service
We have owned these chairs for a long time and just ordered a few more to add to our kitchen bar. We have the counter height ones vs. the bar height ones. One thing to consider is that the seat is cold in winter. We made seat covers. Crate&Barrel has great service and was very helpful.
