Excellent candleholder
I put some of the turquoise pebbles I bought from C&B in the base of the candleholder with a white pillar candle from C&B. It has made such a cute accessory for the bathroom, which is the only room in my Florida house remotely decorated "Florida". It's well worth the money.

Great for every holiday and season of the year
I purchased the large and small hurricanes for one purpose; hold 1000 folded cranes my mother did for our wedding. However, when Christmas came along I couldn't resist and had to use them as soon many others and C&B have done; filled with ornaments and I loved it! Every since then I have used them for NYE, Valentine's, St. Patrick's, etc. I love the versatility of these by just changing the contents and this changes the whole feel of the entertainment center the hurricanes sit in.

Perfect
Purchased both a small and a large hurricase, and they've been on my mantle with flameless candles since they arrived.. Very pleased with the heavy weight. Style would be perfect for any decor.

Versatile decoration piece
Bought a few of these in various sizes last year, and use them ALL the time in a variety of ways. With simple white candles for a clean look. With decorative rocks under the candles to add color. Even put dried peas/beans in the bottom one year to add something festive for a fall outdoor cookout. Great price, and you'll get more than your money's worth.

Simple, Beautiful,..
I bought the large hurricane for the center of my table.
It is the perfect size, and I love how I dont have to worry about the an open candle in the middle of a holiday table. Best, one of my guests commented that this hurricane does not block the view across the table,because it is clear. People can see each other and have a conversation.

This hurricane is sturdy, modern, and yet timeless. It is quite large, so be sure to purchase a candle wide enough so that it does not look out of proportion. Pretty & Versatile!
The London hurricane is a great hurricane! I love that it has a foot, and it looks so pretty displayed on our desk. I purchased dried artichoke filler to put in it and can't wait till that arrives! The large size hurricane is such a great piece, and not too bad of a price point either. I highly recommend!

Beautiful hurricane!!!
I bought this hurricane to replace one i broke. I couldnt find it where i originally bought it so I looked on line. Crate and Barrel was the only ones that had it. I must say it is a little bit more expensive than the other one I bought, but the quality of the item sure is worth it. It is made of thick glass and slightly bigger also. I am very satisfied with this product

Elegant and durable!
I was looking for something to decorate a buffet table and it needed to be elegant but also sturdy enough to not be tipped over. These meet both of those requirements and they look great!

Hurricane Lamp
this hurricane lamp is very classy and much bigger than i expected.........I bought the small one along with a 3x4 pillar candle..........and put the mini 1" christmas red/white ornaments that crate & barrel sells (like the picture shows) in it..........it took 2 1/2 sets of the christmas ornaments to go in it (not only one set that the picture shows)..........i am very pleased with the quality of this item..........would make a nice gift to that special someone............

Beautiful Hurricane for Fireplace Mantel

top quality and cat-proof!
These are beautiful - I bought two of large and two small and they comfortably accommodate a 9 inch and a 5 inch candle respectively. More importantly the base is sturdy enough to withstand the hyperacitvity of our five cats who tend to knock things over.
Not cheap, if you buy four, as I did, but worth every penny.

Great Centerpiece for a Small Table
I got this hurricane just before Christmas '08, and I have loved using it for a small square, 4-seater kitchen table. It's versatile and easy to switch out for the holidays--the candles also look beautiful at night flickering in one of these!
