The Story

To achieve the perfect temperature for your preferred tea brewing, this sleek programmable cordless kettle features a countdown timer that can be adjusted to increase or decrease steeping time. Generous capacity metal kettle with 1500-watt heating element and removable infuser can be used alone with the kettle lid to quickly heat up to 1.2 liters of water. Six preset settings are designed for delicate, green white, oolong, herbal and black teas. Memory feature allows kettle to be removed from base for up to two minutes without shutting off. Six preset temperatures brew a variety of teas to perfection, as well as boil water for French press coffee, cocoa, soups and recipes (plus a keep-warm option maintains the set temperature for 30 minutes).

Cuisinart® PerfecTemp® Teakettle is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed I drink a lot of tea and this teakettle provides water at the perfect temperature. I also use it to boil water for cocoa or other hot drinks and it's very fast.  I've been using this for maybe 6+ months and I haven't seen any rust (in ref to the previous review).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So Disappointing Followed complicated directions. Tea was great but after 2nd pot bottom of pot began to rust. Exchanged for another- same rust ring after 3 uses. Store was great and took both back.  Still looking for a new tea pot :o(
