The Perfect Rug!
I, too, read the reviews before purchasing this rug. I also brought home a rug sample before making my decision. I completely agree with everyone who loves this rug. It is the perfect rug! The color is the perfect neutral - a bit of gray and taupe, with a beautiful sheen. It adds a great visual texture to the space and I like the variations in the thickness of the pile. It is plush to walk on and so soft to the touch. I also like the way it lays on the floor. The shag falls softly to frame the rug, so none of the binding shows. I love this rug and am very happy with this Crate and Barrel purchase!

So far so good
This rug is so soft and plush and it is the perfect neutral color. It feels wonderful to walk on barefoot. We've only had it a few weeks but so far we love it.

Wonderful Rug
I read many of the previous reviews of this rug prior to purchasing it for my new hardwood floors. The reviews were spot on and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The rug is so soft and comfortable and the color is beautiful. The best thing is it doesn't shed! The rug is well worth the price!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
This is the best rug ever! My husband and I bought this in 8x10 for our bedroom. It is fantastic! If you are looking for a rug to pull your room together buy this rug. It is well worth the money!

Best Shag Rug
This truly is the best shag rug I have owned (and I've owned a lot of them). It is super soft, and the best part is that it doesn't shed. We have very dark wood floors under the rug, and clean up is minimal. It also looks plush and fabulous with our decor. Buy it! We have an 8 by 10 and think it is worth every penny.

Memphis Stone Rug
I have had this rug about a month. I just love it! I have stone tile flooring and this rug really warms the space. I'm sure I will love it even more this winter. It is very soft and comphy to walk on with bare feet. I hope it will not mat as we continue to walk on it.

LOVE this rug!!
My husband and I have wanted this rug ever since we saw it at a friend's house. We finally purchased it a few weeks ago and we adore it. It looks great, is super soft and comfortable to walk on, and we feel certain it's going to continue looking great for a long time to come!

You Cannot Beat It!!!
This is the best rug I have ever purchased and I have purchased many. It is just the right height of shag and a beautiful color; goes with everything. I would highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to look any further for the perfect rug.

Luxury and loving it!

All Pet Lovers...
We were a little hesitant buying a shag rug and a light coloured one at that because we have a black lab. We have had this rug for a month and it is wonderful. It doesn't show the dog hair like most rugs and it cleans up beautifully. No shedding and easy to care for. The colour is perfect and makes our place look very chic. It is very soft and the dog even prefers to sleep on the rug instead of her bed. We would highly recommend this rug!

LUSH HIGH END LOOK
This is my 4th Memphis rug.....I bought two smaller Charcoal rugs that look upscale without the maintenance of wool! The stone color is a perfect taupe shade that works in my eclectic home.

Cozy Rug
This rug is super cozy and we are soo glad we got it. The picture online is a bit lighter than the actual product. It is true STONE color, so tints of beige and gray, but we paired it with our Gray couch, brown leather ottoman, wicker chair and leather chair. To make the room pop we added bright colored pillows and great art. We really love the room its very homey!

great rug
I was a little concerned about whether there would be any shedding with this rug based on some of the other reviews. However, there has been very little shedding and this is such a soft and comfortable rug.

Absolutely scrumptious!
I have been looking for the last 7 months for a neutral, textured rug for our living room. I ordered the Memphis rug in the Stone color and I am absolutely in LOVE! This is the most amazing rug in my home. Walking on this rug is quickly becoming a highlight of my day. It is the softest, plush, most gorgeous rug EVER! It is neutral enough to give my other more dramatic pieces of furniture room to shine. I would highly recommend this rug for your home. What a beautiful, "cozy" addition to your personal space.

Great foyer rug
When they handed it to me it was rolled up and so lightweight I though I had made a mistake in purchasing it. Then I got it home and unrolled it. It fit perfectly and looks great. I always get compliments on it. Love the color!

perfect rug!
I finally took the leap and purchased the memphis steele rug I'd been wishing for. So glad I did. It really does have sink-in softness and no shedding! Your toes sink right in and I couldn't ask for more! The color is great. It's a mix between a dark grey and silver. Matches my decor wonderfully. It's plush and very soft. The kids love to sit on it for tv watching or play. Sometimes even for a nap! A great overall purchase!

Exceptional rug
The color, texture, density, and durability of this rug are all fantastic. I have always loved the look of shag, but hated the shedding...and this gives me exactly what I wanted. I get compliments from everyone. It begs you to run your fingers through it. Only down side I have seen is that your fingers can feel sticky after touching it, but I assume that is the stain-resistant substance, so it's worth it. I haven't spilled anything yet, so I can't comment there. I would recommend to just about anyone.

excellent rug
love the feel of this rug. Deep and SOFT. The red has a variety of tones, making it a deep red color. and on the highest setting, i am able to vaccuum (have 2 dogs). It is great quality (especially for the price) and may be my favorite rug EVER.

LOVE it!
this is the perfect rug if you want something very plush with very little maintenance! as soon as guests step on it they comment on how soft and comfortable it is. and it doesn't shed AT ALL!
