Using time-honored techniques, artist Robin Bradford refreshes the ancient art of Japanese katagami stencils with meticulously hand-cut designs that are graphic and modern. Traditional small-scale motif created by specially shaped punching tools enlarges for optical rhythm and texture. Offset print of the original stencil is reproduced on acid-free paper and crisply presented in single ivory mat and black frame with a satin finish.
