Love Them!
The Parquet Stair Treads I purchased are perfect for my front porch stairs. They are easy put down and easily removed when the weather doesn't require extra traction. Worked great this winter during snow and ice. And the price was better than any I had seen in the local home improvement and department stores. These are a must buy if you live in an area of inclement weather or have slippery stairs!

Too small
These are way smaller than our cement steps and not long enough so looks misproportioned. I can't imagine any stairs these would look right on because of the tiny size. Now using ouside of our mudroom door. Tip: measure first.

Great Solution for Slippery Steps
With winter just around the corner, we needed
a solution for our slippery front steps. Crate and Barrel Parquet Stair Treads did the trick. They are elegant looking, lightweight and adhere very nicely to the painted concrete surface. When you need to shovel, they lift up easily. The steps are much safer now, which is greatly appreciated by our mail carrier!

Just what I wanted
I know this tread was probably meant more for outdoor use but I was looking for something on my two carpeted stairs where there was very heavy traffic. It hides a lot of the worn look of the carpet and protects it from getting worse. I also like the decorative look it gives my stairs.

Very pleased
As others, I purchased due to slippery wood steps, and these were by far the most attractive and reasonably priced treads I found. While they stay in place on certain wood steps, they do not on others. I simply put a few nails on either side and they are fine. They have been an amazing help for my dog going down the deck steps. I actually am waiting on a back order for more of them, as a co-worker wants them also. I hope they still manufacture them. I definitely recommend them.

Safety in an attractive product
I ordered 4 pairs of the treads as well as the matching doormat. They look attractive on the gray cement stairs leading to my front door. After "surviving" the September hurricane and the awful Halloween snowstorm, I became increasingly concerned about safety for people entering my townhouse during snow, ice and rain. These are an an good-looking and inexpensive solution to that problem

Helps prevent slipping and tripping hazards!
This is a great product that helps prevent tripping on stairs. I use them in my garage where people repeatedly could not see steps down into the garage because the concrete is all one color. The tread stays in place all by itself and has prevented slips from occurring. Excellently priced!

Just what I needed!
I bought these stair treads for the two steps leading into my kitchen from the car-port. The treads have helped reduce the amount of dirt and mud tracked into the house.
The treads don't stick perfectly to the steps. Sometimes they slide around. But the sliding is minimal, and I haven't tripped yet. ;)

Really Works
I wondered if these stair treads would really work on my outside steps, but as soon as I put them down, I knew they did. On painted brick steps (outside), they really are non-slip and help with the wear and tear on the paint. The simple geometric design is what sold me on these, as most stair treads you can find are fancy, curly-que things that don't go with my modern house. I had wondered if I might have to glue them down, but one step on them and you realize that your weight keeps them firmly in place...so no glue required. I'd recommend them for anyone needing extra security on outside steps.

Exactly What I Needed
I have an old dog who was having trouble getting up and down the deck steps. These worked perfectly and keep her from slipping. Love the fact that they can be hosed off.

too flimsy
They are attractive for rubber stair treads but they are quite thin and don't stay put on our painted wood stairs. I thought they'd either be heavy enough to stay put or have an adhesive option.

the answer to slippery wood steps
we recently purchased a home built in 1915 with a rehabbed front porch of beautiful brazilian rose wood. Wonderful until a snowy and icy WI winter hit. Our stairs were treacherous and we were unable to salt them without damaging the wood. These rubber mats were the perfect answer. They move easily to sweep the stairs of snow and allow traction for guests and the postman! No more worries about someone slipping on our stairs. Plus they are discreet and attractive!
