Great value
I purchased 3 of your 3 foot Archetype Espresso Photo Ledges. I was very impressed. The mounting hardware was all packaged together along with a level and paper template for mounting screws. The product was very sturdy and looks great on the wall.

Love these!
We bought the wall box and the 2 and 3 foot shelves several years ago. Installation looked a little scary at first, but the great templates helped decide on placement and the installation was simple. So pleased with their very professional look.

great ledge!
I got the 2 ft ledge, 3 ft ledge and box to display some plates on a wall rather than using plate hangers. They look great!

Looks great, easy assembly
I was a little skeptical when these shelves were given to me in flat boxes indicating that assembly was required, but it took me under 5 minutes to put each one together with easy to follow instructions. Includes a template which makes mounting really easy as well. Although these boxes are probably intended for something a little more decorative, we actually use them as nice DVD displays/storage (the box accommodates DVD cases with about a 1/4" inch to spare on top).

Great price, Look nice
For the price these shelves are really nice. Matched the espresso furniture we have exactly. Not sure why so many have difficulty hanging this product. Straight forward concept and didn't even need the template. Even thoughtful that the mounting holes are ~16" apart so you can plan ahead if you like and actually mount to studs in the wall for extra sturdiness.

Good Quality and Easy to Install
I ordered two of the 2' ledge and 1 of the large wall box, and I love them both! Crate and Barrel must have updated their instructions because it came with a template, level, and anchors as well as directions. My boyfriend found them very easy to install however we did have some difficulty ( our fault or theirs, I don't know) with one of the anchors, so we replaced with one we already owned. Looks beautiful and very sturdy!

Nice Accent Piece
I read through the reviews and was a little hesitant to purchase this shelf, but I went ahead anyways knowing that if I had any difficulties I could just return it. Well, contrary to what others had written, I found this shelf extremely simple to install. I'm not sure if they've changed the piece based on past reviews or not, but it only took me about 30-minutes to align it and install it. It's very sturdy - I have no concerns about placing fairly heavy objects on it and I'm positive it won't fall off the wall at any point in time. It's a great piece overall and as long as you follow the enclosed instructions you should have a problem with anything.

Great product but it stinks!
These shelves were exactly what I was looking for and I'm glad I purchased them. They were a bit challenging to install but the paper template they provided was very helpful and made it doable. The only problem I have with this product is that the chemical smell from the varnish is awful! It has been about a month since we put them up and we still have to keep the windows open nearby so that the smell isn't so bad.

Not worth the trouble
Believe the bad reviews below. I consider myself to be pretty handy and these shelves were very difficult to hang. Do not bother to use the mounts sent with the shelves. They are useless and break very easy. If you insist on purchasing this item use different screws and mounts. These shelves are tough to level and not worth the money or hassle.

Beautiful Shelves, Shoddy Hanging Materials
We bought the wall box and the 2' shelf. They look beautiful, are sturdy, and we will be buying more. BUT, the drywall anchors provided with the shelves could NOT be inserted in the wall without stripping the plastic that's meant to hold the screws in place. The size hole they tell you to drill is not big enough to shove in the drywall anchors (which are just a soft-ish plastic) without damaging the insides so that they'll no longer grip the screw. We ended up having to redrill holes for the shelf using extra long screws to grip into the wall and mount the shelf right on the screws. It was extremely frustrating, but we figured out a fix and the shelves really do look great now.

love love love it
We really do like the shelves. We purchased 4 of them and have two beside each other that looks like one long shelf. Then we put the other two about 18 inches below those side by side. We have many pictures of our family on the shelves. It is a good way to diaplay a lot of pictures in a small apace.

Easy, Sturdy, & Beautiful!
This box requires minimal assembly, which takes about 5 minutes (max!) and the nice thing is it comes with a level and a stencil to make sure your spacing and holes in the wall are just right.
It looks just as nice in my home as it did in the crate and barrel store display and I would definitely purchase this again or recommend to a friend.

This wall box was super easy to pop together and now holds the larger items I wasn't able to put on the ledge shelf. I got 2 and both look great side by side.

Love it!
We have this in our living room wall, displaying old family photos and my grandfather's camera. I like the finish color and the box is sturdy. The surface is rougher than expected, though. It snags my dusting cloths at times. We have a small wall box, too. Too bad those are no longer available-- we could use another!
