So many uses!
I now own 4 of these planters and love their versitility. I wouldn't want drainage holes (could be easily drilled for drainage if desired) as I am using them for not only plants, but as tables and stools as well. Each is a little different which I believe to be the material.
I do agree with other reviewers that they could be a bit less expensive but clearly that hasn't stopped me!

Great Looking Planter
We purchased one large and one small planter for a large Master Bath. Tall tree in back and smaller in front
look great and really fill up the space. The design is simple and classic...not overly modern. I agree with other viewers that they seem overpriced but when you get the look you're hoping for it is worth it. Since we had very large plants, we didn't want to repot the plants. There is enough room in the large one for a 14" round container with a drainage plate at the bottom, I wouldn't want to use it oudoors without a drainage hole because you would have to empty it after a rainfall.

Nice planter
I have the small size and gave a similar review- four stars are for the price- a tad expensive, but a nice, modern looking planter. I can see how customers might like a hole in the bottom for drainage, but I quite like it without. When I plant in it, I put a vessel at the bottom to collect water, then fill about 1/4 of the way with plastic water bottles for soil drainage. Then, I plant away as usual, and it seems to solve all of the aesthetic/water/drainage issues. Looks beautiful on my deck!

no drainage and expensive
The planter looks great. The biggest problem, other than the high price, is the missing drainage hole(s). Without drainage holes, anything planted in this planter will die. Drilling holes is also very difficult, but not impossible. C&B, please remember to include some drainage holes!
