Wonderful!
I love this item as it is so versatile. You can fill it with candles and river rocks, add water (or skip the water) or use it to create seasonal displays with moss and small art objects. I even put a vase with flowers and candles and it looked great.

It leaked!
I filled our reflection centerpiece with water and it leaked all over my dining room table and warped our hardwood floors! This is the first purchase from C&B that I've been disappointed with.

Stunning
I'm not sure why anyone would give this piece a poor rating due to its size. The size is clearly stated in the description and yes, it is fairly large.
If you wish to use it on a dining table you will need a big table that is at least 40 inches or more wide. It could also be used on a coffee table and would be beautiful.
I purchased it for our dining table and it makes the room. There are a multitude of ways in which one can decorate it depending on the season/holiday/decor.
This is expensive but well worth the money and I don't think one would ever tire of it.

Really Big
I guess I didn't read the measurements before I ordered but I was shocked when it arrived. This is huge. It actually takes up my whole table. I was looking for long and thin and this is a regular wide rectangle.

Center of Attention!
This striking yet simple design serves to add panache to all of our table settings...whether it's filled with decorative sand or water, stones or floating candles...it's an absolute beauty!!

Zen at its best
We love our zen reflection pool. We initially did have a problem with it after filling it with water, finding a little bit of rust in one of the corners, but we took it back and exchanged it for a new one and have had no issues at all. Great to use with floating candles as well as orchids. Very cool!

One of a Kind!
Beautiful addition to a contemporary home! Looks outstanding with candles or flowers. I like that it sits low so that family and friends can dine and still see each other.

EYECATCHING COVERSATION STARTER
YES........I agree it is pricey. That did keep me from immediately buying it. I tried not to, but certainly glad I did. It is a substantial piece and very versatile. Absolutely outstanding with water, flowers and floating candles.
It is a statement making contemporary piece that no one will overlook. Buy with confidence.

Well Worth Price
Like many other reviews I was reluctant to purchase given the price. Larger and heavier than expected but its a quality piece that adds a contemporary touch to any settings. I have placed on our dining room table with C&B river rocks and flameless candles and it looks great. Looking forward to filling with water.

glorified centre piece
i first saw this piece on a photo bloggers picture. i was awed by it and visited the crate & barrel website to see if they had the piece. alas it was there but the price was some what on the steep side for a centre piece. but i want my house to look classy, so i ordered the item. its a bit on the heavy side, i guess cause its metal. i used river stones and candles to decorate the inside. i haven't gotten any compliments yet but my girlfriend who i swear knows my each and every purchase did notice, we laughed don't know if that meant she liked it...

Bold & Beautiful
I hesitated to purchase this piece, because of the price, but it is exactly what I was looking for- a bold,
simple addition to my home. It is such a versatile piece too, since it holds water, it can be used with either flowers, or candles. I love it.

Absolutely worth the money!
I have to admit that I questioned spending over $100 on a glorified metal candleholder. However, when I received it and placed it on our new Crate and Barrel Paloma table, I quickly determined that it was money well spent. It is a substantial piece that weighs in at nearly 25 pounds and is about 3 feet long. I can't imagine anything better to use as a centerpiece. I appreciate the versatility that it offers. For Christmas, I simply placed three large candles, pinecones, and potpourri in it and received multiple compliments. After the holidays, I will probably switch to river rocks...and then in the Spring I will fill it with water and add floating candles and fresh flowers. I love it.

Wonderful accent
I have used this tray in so many locations. It's beautiful with candles of different heights and stones. One of my favorite purchases. The scale is very nice as well, as it fills a coffee table or console nicely.

"Beautiful Centerpiece. Great Design.
Brings the outdoors inside! Water,
candles and actual live plants. Definitely a
conversational piece when entertaining.

simple & contemporary
we haven't used it with water yet, but this centerpiece is simple and looks fantastic on our long espresso oak dining room table. it's a little pricey, but really screams "classy," especially with the reasonably-priced bags of river rocks from C & B.
