Good Looking AND Best Price!
I bought these for my wedding to have at our "altar" after a bit of looking around. I found that these were the best priced option for what I was looking for. I received them promptly and since they are so lightweight, they are easy to transport which is great. Will definitely put a brick or two in the bottom as other users suggest - and will fill with water bottles instead of soil as I always see on HGTV.
Can't wait to use them at our wedding and then out on the back deck for years to come!

Bring on the Curb Appeal!!
I had been looking for planters like this for a while, only to find that many this size sold for hundreds of dollars, were extremely heavy, and were much too wide for my steps. I didn't think that I would find anything when I saw these planters in the window of my local Crate and Barrel store. I bought them immediately and planted bright yellow marigolds in the inset.
That's another very nice thing about these planters - there's an inset that will hold a medium size plant. Switching out plants is simplicity and the inset makes it a breeze to plant items as well. Most of the planter is hollow, which makes it just light enough to move around but not so light that it will blow over. I live in the South where we have some pretty crazy thunderstorm and these have stood tall through it all!
Please see the image below for my front porch! No lie - since putting these planters out two months ago I've had no fewer than three neighbors ringing the bell to ask where I got them!

Color not as pictured
Ordered online, picked up in the store which was very convenient. Rookie mistake, did not open the box to see the color before I got home. Unlike the picture which shows it mainly black with a bit of grey, the planter I received was mostly blue and patchy in color - not the look I was hoping for. Will attempt to exchange for a more solid color back in the store.

Glad I purchased
I bought 2 of these planters for my front porch last summer. I was hesitant to buy them at first, because they looked like they might not hold up in Texas's extreme weather. I'm glad I did. Both still look great, even the planter that gets more direct sun. I highly recommend them if you are looking for modern planters.

Great Planter, Great Price!
I ordered 3 of these large planters for my home patio - love that you don't have to fill the entire planter with dirt - love the modern look and the price was great!
Thought they looked so good, we bought 3 additional sets of three for our Terrace at the hotel!

Perfect!
This is the best planter I've ever purchased. The insert eliminates the need to fill the entire planter with dirt, keeping it light and moveable. The color and finish are beautiful.

Style Great, but wear?
We bought two for our porch and we love the style. That said, after the first rain the finish looked pretty bad. : ( They got all streaky - the streaks are white? We got them at the end of the summer and even though we didn't like what the rain did to them, the snow didn't make them any worse. Anyhow, we will likely have to spray paint them. I notice someone else did as well. If you don't mind that and are looking for something with a reasonable price and contemporary look, these will work well...

Great Modern Style
This is my THIRD set,I always buy two at a time so total of 6 elsewhere would be the price of one.They are easily spray painted which I have done and look great.
I love them such a great modern look at EXCELLENT price can not beat it!!

Excellent curb appeal
I was so sad when I returned to the store to purchase more and they were all sold out. I was so relieved to find them on the website. They provided such a calming effect with leafy plants leading into my house that I had to buy more. Lovely and sturdy. Great price and quality. Two thumbs up!

The Perfect Planter.
Classic and practical. Ideal height and width, sturdy and attractive. The top is large enough to drop in a decent sized preplanted pot and deep enough for roots if filling with dirt and planting directly. They are light, so we added a bag of play sand to weight the bottom. Filled it with greens in the winter and it held up fine on a covered porch. Perfect choice for smaller porches and patios.

Unusual style
I like mid-century style and these tall, sleek planters, in a dark color, look great. The 3 sizes available look good grouped together. They are lightweight, easy to move around. Rocks can be placed in the bottom to keep them in 1 spot.

I'm in love
bought this first at a scratch and dent section. But then I started to love it more and more. The color, how lightweight it is, the option to pull the drain plug, the little liner that sits at the top so you don't have to fill the whole thing, again with another drain plug if you so choose. They showed these planters with succulents, for a reason, these guys get really hot in the sun, to the touch and for the plants and roots I'd imagine. But I just put it on my covered back patio with a fern... and I stare at it adoringly.... it was the gateway planter...I ended up buying the whole set!

Love these planter
They were exactly what I wanted for my front porch. They shipped very quickly and were exactly the size and dimensions I wanted. I couldn't have been happier. I did fill the base with rocks to make them heavier since they would be sitting outside. The price was great too. I bought the set of 3 and couldn't find a price to beat them anywhere.

Bang for the buck!
I bought these planters for the front door of my traditional, shingled center entrance colonial and absolutely love them. The zinc's patina is perfect and the simplicity of the planters let the flowers in them shine. I planted million bells with a few trailing accents plants which were stunning in these tall planters. They have a removable insert which only take up the top 1/4 of the planter.....nice not to have to put soil in the entire planter. I did have to put a few rocks/bricks in the bottom to weigh them down so they don't tip on a windy day. Substantial size for the price, too.

perfect.
i had seen these a few years ago, but didn't order them before they'd sold out. when i found them this last spring, i didn't bat an eye before purchasing the set of three. the insert comes out, making planting easy, as well as transport. not overly big, not too small -- these look great in a grouping or on their own!
