GREAT PLANTERS!!!
These are large planters and keep the plants with plenty of soil to grow luxurious. They look great, easily hang over the railing, and weather really well outside. The only downside is because they are large, they can be a little heavy if you fill them with soil. Alteratively they are large enough to put big pots inside and look great!

Decorative and Practical
I love these! I have two on my deck. They fit perfectly and are so much more attractive than the ones I've seen at garden stores; not to mention more durable than plastic or resin ones. I keep herbs in them, so that they are easily accessible and off the ground. I am going to be getting at least one more.

perfect for our townhouse
Our new townhouse has a black metal deck rail. The rail hook blends in nicely and shows off the blue-ish black zinc planter box. Nice and deep, they now hold my kitchen herb garden + some red geraniums and blue lobelia - the colors really pop against the backdrop of this planter set. I combined two rectangular + three square planters to line the whole edge of my deck.

looked great, rusted
I bought 4 of these last spring for my roof deck. They looked beautiful, hung nicely, and gave a nice contemporary look to my deck. Unfortunately, they are now very rusted, to the point of being unusable. I am not sure if I had given them a coat of paint prior to planting that they would have held up better, but it seemed a lot of work for something supposedly weatherproof. Now searching for plastic planters to fit in the rails, which are still fine.

perfect patio planters
I love these planters! they are going to be perfect for a patio railing...just make sure you have support on your deck or patio railing. the part that hangs the planter itself needs support the ENTIRE length. I found this out the hard way.

Very Elegant
I bought 2 of these planters for my new wrought iron porch rails. I have received many compliments. They “match” the rails well but also add detail and stand out on their own. I was very pleased that they hang straight horizontally and do not sag. They create a very elegant and “finished” looking porch.

Quality Planters
Bought 2 of these to start a little garden on our apartment balcony. Lightweight and easy to set up. As per prior reviews, though, you should measure your rails to make sure the hook will fit over it. And the hook runs the length of the planter, so make sure you have the appropriate uninterrupted rail length. They make a beautiful addition and our flowers are blooming lovely in them! Might have to buy more next summer!
