The Perfect Espresso Cup!
I actually bought 50 of these cups for a bridal shower I was giving. We served soup out of the cups, hence, no need for spoons. They were perfect! Very durable and dishwasher safe, but look very elegant also.

Perfect if you're an espresso drinker
My intention was to purchase a set of 12 of these little puppies but it donned on me that I didn't have the space to store them currently. My pack of six are fantastic if you're an espresso drinker, I am Italian and so I have a stove top original. The handle is perfect for you to hold, so many espresso cups have these odd little nubs that don't help. I wish they stacked in the cupboard so you could save on space but I wouldn't trade them. The style, the design and of course, they're white which is the aesthetic I was looking for. I can over look the small cons because the pros simply outweigh them.

Function
I'm adding an important point overlooked in the other reivews, the funcitonality. The size is narrower than many espresso cups which helps retain heat and can make for a slightly deeper crema. I pull doppio shots and the fill level and the heat retention are perfect. It may be my imagination, but the crema seems to hold a little longer with the narrower cup. I have many espresso cups and these are my current favorite.

Pretty demitasse
These demitasse cups are beautiful in their simplicity. They are a little delicate, however, and can chip easily. The do hold up great in the dishwasher, however. I will buy them again.

Just what we were looking for...
I purchased these espresso cups and saucers to go along with our Bialetti Moka Espresso pot, and we love them! My husband makes espresso almost every day and he uses these every time. They are small, simple, they have a classic look so they are great even if your style changes a lot. I noticed another review mentioned that the cups are small and they are... espresso cups are supposed to be small. We love using these when we have company over and we always get compliments! We also puchased the smaller spoons to go with our set.

The perfect espresso cup
I bought another set elsewhere and was really disappointed, so I returned it and came to Crate&Barrel. I immediately realized I should have come here first.
This espresso set is everything i was hoping for. It's stylish, functional, affordable and great quality. Both the cup and the saucer are easy to hold—many espresso cups have small handles that are a challenge to hang on to. And the saucer has plenty of space for a small spoon or biscotti.
Crate&Barrel comes through again.
