Aspen Dinnerware-excellent
I bought a complete service set for my daughter. She has truly enjoyed it, as have I when I have been there. It looks classy and can be dressed up or down, with any color. The pieces are well designed and well-sized. They are thin enough to feel like china and not ceramic. They are also reasonably priced. They have been great.

Lead free
What I like about this dinnerware and all Crate and Barrel dinnerware, even imported dinnerware is that they guarantee it is lead free.

Great Product
I wish I have found these years ago. We walked into the store planning to purchase the Essential dinnerware, but walked out with the Aspen. The mugs have a clean look (though these don’t stack) and more contemporary feel. The plates come with rims and stack neatly. The bowls are large and can hold oatmeal, soup and food over rice (donburi). Happy with this purchase. And yes, good value too.

Ideal white dishes
I've been searching for reasonably priced white dinnerware to use everyday and for special occasions FOREVER. The aspen dinnerware from Crate and Barrel is PERFECT. We love the coffee cups, the size of the bowls, and the plates are just right.

Very durable
We've had the Aspen dinnerware for a few years now, and it still looks great. I don't think we've had a single chip despite two small kids. Very happy with this purchase.

Love, love, love these dishes
I first bought these dishes as a shower gift. I loved them so much that I bought 2 sets for myself. After using them for 4 months I decided that I needed a serving for 12. They are light, wash well and look so pretty on the table. I would definitely recommmend them

No competition
These plates are so clean and simple, they let the food speak for itself. They're sturdy but not bulky, and that can sometimes make all the difference in the presentation of a good dinner!

Love this dinnerware
I love the classic clean design of this dinnerware. I had purchased 12 of the deep bowls about a year ago to serve soup in. I liked them so much that I bought 8 place settings for our new 2nd home!

Love these dishes
Aspen is a great set of dishes. We have used on a daily basis for over 2 years without a chip. I have bought more dinner plates for holidays. They work well with accent dishes for holidays.

Very happy with these plates
These salad/dessert plates are the perfect accompaniment to the Aspen dinner plates. Same clean, white design. Durable, easy to clean, retains no food stains. Would definitely recommend.

Letting Go
When I finally made the decision to cleanse my cabinets of the tired and what I felt was 'traditional' dinnerware the dilemma was with what? Fortunately problem solved on first try, Aspen dinner set perfect because it is porcelain, no scratching, light in weight with a nice soft sheen. It fits nicely into the dishwasher and though the bowls are bigger they still stack well an important point in that many sets actually fail to do. All the proportions are great from plate size being ample and mugs having the correct size handle without being cumbersome...good for both men and women. I am so delighted and should maybe mention that I am a chef - caterer and that a beautiful meal set out on a beautiful plate is key!

Love it!
I have so enjoyed this purchase. The price, color, simplicity and timelessness of the dishes are exactly what I was looking for. I have only had it for 4 months so I cannot rate the durability yet. I do like the shape and size of the plates. I also really like the size of the mugs. They are not too bg, not too small. The cereal bowls are too big for my family, but they are great for other uses. I ordered smaller bowls as well.

Nice product. Simple.
We ordered 8place settings and are really happy with the simple white look that this product offers. The only problem we have had is that the dishes chip easily and for no apparent reason. We wash them in the dishwasher and are generally careful with them but several chips have appeared out of nowhere. They are reasonably priced and therefore easily replaced but we are simply using the chipped ones. Despite the chipping, I would recommend these dishes.

Perfect dishes
Originally I had only the aspen dinner plates. But, now I have the plates, bowls, serving dishes, salad plates, mugs and soup bowls!!!!
Food presentation on the plates is so clean and crisp and the dishes are so easy to clean. I just love serving food on these dishes. Everything looks delicious!!
I highly recommend the Aspen dishes and you will never regret your purchase.
I even ordered them on line and picked them up at the local Crate and Barrel. They were packaged efficiently so they would be easy to transport from the store to my car and then into my home. The weight was evenly distributed in each bag. So much care and concern went into making sure my experience would be positive!
A job well done and I always have a positive experience with the people at Crate and Barrel!!!

Don't judge by the price
These dishes are gorgeous. We bought them for our second home, but really have fallen in love with them. I'm not sure what these people are talking about with the chips. I have 2 young kids and plates have "fallen" off the table and not a chip in sight. The coffee cup handle does NOT get hot when microwaved. The bowls are kind of huge, at least bigger than I'm used to. Overall, an excellent value. A really good looking set of dishes for an excellent price. Can't go wrong if all white dishes is what your looking for.
