This set is the epitome of simplistic. Washes up, microwaves and serves perfectly. It's so affordable I have no issues with using these dishes with my toddlers.

Functional, Durable and Clean
These dishes are great for every day. They have clean lines and look nice when the table is set. I have had them for 3 months now and nothing has broken or chipped, so I'm impressed in that dept. as well. The coffee/tea mugs are maybe a little thin and get way too hot right after serving if you are not holding the handle. They do not stack well. The bowls are not perfectly round and you have to spin them around to get them to stack perfectly. One other small negative is the bold black stamp of Crate and Barrel on the bottom makes them seem a little more industrial than elegant but with that said they are an excellent value and I would definitely buy them again. Oh, they also came packaged amazingly well.

Great Dishes
These are great dishes for everyday use and special occasions as well. I love white dishes because they really allow the food to be the center of attention. These are beautifully simple dishes, easy to handle, perfect sizes for everyday applications, they clean up well and go with everything! I have been able to mix-and-match with other accessories and everything looks great together!

Best Casual Dishes Ever!
I had purchased a dinnerware set of square, heavy dishes and found that I hated the size and the bulk. I researched for weeks for the perfect set of round, clean white, simple, lightweight but not "cheap" feeling dishes. These dishes are PERFECT. We've had them for about 3 months and have not seen a scratch or dent on any of them. The mugs are huge and perfect for a cozy cup of coffee. My husband loves the plates because, although they are round, they are quite sizable and can fit his usual big plate of food :)
Also, we have heavy, durably silverware that I was worried might not match the dishes but I can say these dishes can go with any style kitchen. They are by far my favorite kitchen purchase. I plan on buying more and using them for life!! :)

Could not ask for more
I recieved these as part of my wedding registry and I love them! Beautiful, clean lines, classy looking but great for everyday use. The oversize mugs are great. The best part is that when I go to reheat my coffee, the handle stays totally cool! I love that. Perfect combo of beautiful and practical.

Best Purchase Ever
I bought this set for everyday use and couldn't be happier. The mugs are perfect size for my morning coffee and comfortable to hold. The small plates are small enough to not take up too much space, but big enough to use for small portioned meal/snack. After 6 months of daily use and being put through the dishwasher, they look as good as the day I unpacked them, not a single chip! I would highly recommend this product.

Great Basics!
I have had this set of dish for about four months and love them! There are basic so they go with everything so you can change the color scheme of your table. They are well made and I have run them through the dishwasher numerous times with no problems.

Nice dishes, but durable
I really like these dishes. They have a very clean simple look. But two of them are already chipped, and I have only had them for 3 months. I'm afraid they won't have the longevity that I had hoped for.

Lovely every-day dinnerware
I bought this set when I decided it was (finally) time to retire my dishes from college. Only took me eight years. I love every piece in the set. The salad plates are big enough for a portion-conscious person to use for dinner. The bowls are a nice size and pretty shape. And I love the mugs! Am a huge coffee drinker - you can fit at least a cup and a half in there. Plus I just like their crisp white color - very pretty dishes. I'm 100% happy with this purchase.

We are really enjoying these plates. We use them for everyday use and they are easy to clean and so far seem to be scratch resistant. They have a good weight and their simplicity work well for plating the food. We are fans.

Working well
I've had this set for several months so far and I am really enjoying it. So far no chips or problems. I love the way my food looks against the white. I'm a city-dweller with a very small space and I wouldn't want my dishes to be any bigger than the dinner plate and bowl that come with this set-- the big plate just barely fits into my cupboard. Great, simple dinnerware!

Classic Affordable Dinnerware
We registered and received the Essential Dinnerware sets for our wedding. We love them! We have both sizes of bowls. We had two of the larger bowls chip but I think that was due to a cheap apartment dishwasher and not loading the dishes right. We are more careful now and have no problems. They are affordable and beautiful!
