Love these bowls!
We use these bowls for every meal from breakfast through dessert, as well as food prep and serving. Also ordered the 8" bowls and can say the same of them. They are lightweight, durable, stylish, affordable and coordinate with everything. It has been a nice surprise to find how often we use both sizes of these bowls. I have never ordered anything online that has arrived so well packaged. My first C & B online purchase will certainly not be my last!

Chips easily
These bowls chip easily. My husband and I wash these bowls carefully by hand only (no dishwasher) and two of them already have chips on the rim. I wish I could return them and get Corelle dishes!

Great size
We recently opened a coffee shop and needed bowls for our soup of the day. These hold about 12 oz of soup which is perfect. We like the clean, simple shape.

The Perfect Bowl

Love these bowls
I purchased 6 of these round bowls because my husband did not like using our square bowls. I love them. They are so easy to clean and I love white dishes. My only complaint is that they are a little smaller than I thought they would be. However, they are still great for everything from soup to cereal to grapefruit. We use them on a daily basis and they still look brand new.

These are a perfect size for everyday cereal or ice cream. Inexpensive enough to use with children, but have a classic look that can go modern or traditional. You must have 2 sets of these!

Dissapointed in bowls
I was really excited about my new set of dishes since my old ones were way past due to be replaced. I ordered a set of 12 of the large Aspen plates, large square plates, small square dessert plates, and small bistro bowls.
I've used the dishes for close to a year now (maybe closer to 9 months) and am highly satisfied with all of them except the bistro bowls. Out of 12, 5 are chipped. I would not say we are particularly hard on our dishware either. I believe the problem lies in the fact that some of the bowls are slightly misshapen; some are more oval than round. When I unpacked them upon arrival I didn't think much about it. I thought the shaped added to the charm. However, upon using them, I realized they don't stack properly and the edges are not very thick. I love the size of the bowls and the versitality of them, but I am very disappointed in the qualtiy.
Overall, I love my dishes. I just would have chosen different bowls.

Great For Cereal
These smaller-sized bowls are great for cereal or pudding. The ceramic holds heat/cold well, so you won't find that your bowl is sweating during your meal.
My husband and I love these bowls, and use them daily. They were a great choice!

great for smaller servings.
I don't eat huge servings that often (I'm under 5' tall), so these bowls are the perfect size for people with lighter appetites. you won't be using these for soupy noodles, though.
top of the rim is a bit thin--I have a chip in a bowl or two. point being, they don't chip easily per se, but you should still be careful with them.

Love These Bowls
I received one of these bowls in a blog giveaway I won about a year ago, and I used it practically every day until I finally caved in and purchased the set. First, I love the look of these bowls. They're sleek and modern with a little bit of gloss. They're also the perfect size for most things. I use them for yogurt and granola, side salads, ice cream, oatmeal, small bowls of leftovers, etc. I think they're a little small for main dish portions of things like pasta, salad, and dry cereal, but for all other purposes they're awesome. I've also found them to be very sturdy as long as you treat them carefully.

Very big
These bowls are beautiful and sturdy. I've had them for over a year and none of them has chipped. Two disappointments are that the sides are so tall that they are hard to nest in the dishwasher and also, they are much bigger than I expected. They are really too large for a cereal bowl for kids. I'm still looking for the perfect bowl 5 - 5 1/2."

Pretty and Functional
Received both the small and larger Bistro Bowls and so far they have been great! Simple, clean design and the small ones fit perfectly in my hand. Washed them in the dishwasher with no problem- they do stack a little staggered- not sure if that is the result of warping from the dishwasher like another reviewer said- but love them none the less.

Our office is updating our kitchen supplies and have been ordering new products for it recently.
I purchased two sets of glasses with another company and had to deal with receiving a couple of them shipped broken. Naturally I was leery as to how the bowls would ship but when they arrived, I was REALLY impressed with how careful and safe Crate & Barrel shipped our bowls to the office. Everything came in safe and sound, nothing chipped or broken!
They look great in our kitchen and are the perfect size for some oatmeal or chips.
