I really like this set. They are a nice size and very durable.
I wash them in the dishwasher all the time and have had a few spots but nothing that is terrible. I'd definitely recommend this set.

Spreaders
I bought these spreaders even though they are not a direct match with my flatware. They went well with the individual butter dished that i also purchased.

Best gift!
I received the Kyoto flatware set as a gift, and love them! They are the perfect shape and elegant yet modern, as well as very durable.

Love it
I got 2 sets of these in late 2005. I absolutely loved them so much that we ended up getting the rest of the sets as a wedding gift. They are very durable and don't look worn.
The only complaint is that they are a little on the heavy side. I don't mind it, but my husband seems to think they are heavy.

Elegant and Practical
This flatware set is an amazing addition to any home. It is unique enough to dress up a table, yet fits right in for daily dining. I have thrown it in the dishwasher many times and it hasn't lost any of its luster. The mirror finish shines like the day I bought it. It is sturdy and beautiful...a great combination for daily use.

Unique, stylish flatwear
I bought these in 2007 and have been exceptionally happy with this pattern. I wanted something to go with my tropical flowered dishes and add a bit of panache to my everyday dining. This set is perfect. I love the bamboo pattern. It's heavy, substantial and takes wear. Every piece has been through the dishwasher dozens of times, and looks great. A bit of scratching of the mirror finish--but that's completely normal. My only detraction is the the soup spoon bowl isn't as deep as I'd prfer--it's more like a larger teaspoon. The handles are like bamboo, so they don't stack well--I purchased a flatwear sectional organizer for my drawer and it keeps each category of utensil separated.
If you are looking for a tropical or asian style to your dining, you really can't go wrong with these! Enjoy!
