I use this bowl to display homemade granola and its perfect! Great colors, nice and deep for a good quantity of food.

Great gift! Multiple uses.
I gave this as a birthday gift for a 60+ woman and she was thrilled with it!! I thought of it as more of a centerpiece for the coffee table, and she wrote me a thank you note saying she will be filling it with a fresh fruit salad. Perfect! The price is VERY reasonable for a last minute gift. (Add the matching pitcher, glasses, whatever if you want to spend a little more.)

Don't buy the recycled glass from C&B!
We received this as a wedding gift along with the Miguel pitcher and were really excited as it looked to be the perfect bowl for outside entertaining. However, after the very first wash, the entire bottom of the bowl cracked. The water was not too hot and the bowl was room temperature so I have no idea why this would happen.
Both the Miguel Pitcher and this bowl were TERRIBLE quality and broke upon the first days of use, which is something I've never encountered from C&B's glassware (and we have a lot of it!).

Unique High-Quality Piece
Absolutely lovely, although unlike the description, there is no turquoise in the band coloring. This is fine with me, but if you're attracted by that, just a heads up.
The coloring is both bold & muted at the same time - mostly burnt oranges, golds, yellow, & a very sight hint of green here & there making it an easy piece to mix & match with other tableware. Delightful as a fruit bowl.
I'm so enamored with it that the matching glassware will most likely be my next purchase.

Do not use in microwave
I love the color and heavy weight of the bowls. Although I warned the family not to use in the microwave, it was bound to happen and of course the bowl broke. Order extra if you have kids and a husband that don't listen.

colorful bowl
Bought this because I had all the glasses that match and love them. The colors are so bold and complement my dishes well. Green salads as well as fruit salads show up so nicely through the clear glass.

Beautiful!
I ordered this bowl to see how the stripe really looked and if I wanted more in this line. It's a beautiful bowl with lovely colors in the stripe. It goes with everything because the subtle coloring doesn't demand to be noticed, it just echoes other colors. The recycled glass has that great rustic look but the glass is not too thick. Just gorgeous, I'm about to order glasses, bowls, pitchers for summer entertaining.
