Great Serving Bowl
My husband and I got this for our wedding, we think it's great. To repeat what others have already said, it is much larger than you think it will be and certainly a lot heavier, but who wants a flimsy serving bowl?!? Not me.

Awesome
My family and I use these bowls everyday and they are the best. I'm so glad I purchased them. This is a great item to add to you dinner ware. The bowls can be used as a cereal bowl, soup or salad. You have to buy them. They are AWESOME!!!!!

Heavyweight
I bought this bowl as a serving piece but found it too heavy for passing at the table. Instead, I fill it with seasonal items and use it as decoration in the center of the table. Still a great piece at a great price. I just don't use it as I had originally planned.

Great Plates
These are so great for side dishes and an add on to my square plates. I use them for sauces, side items and small salads. They look great and are just the perfect size

BIG serving bowl
I ordered this to accompany my Court Dinnerware set. It is a very large bowl, that is very heavy and takes up a lot of space in the dishwasher and cabinet. That is why I gave it 4 starts instead of 5. Other than that, I really like this bowl, it holds a ton and looks great. Like all the other pieces I have gotten, it is durable, no chipping at all, and it has gotten banged against other dishes and our granite counters.

Perfect Serving Bowls
I have several large bowls and the soup bowls and use them whenever I have casual gatherings at the house. They work great as serving pieces and hold up well in the dishwasher. I have nicked these several times on our granite countertop and they have not chipped.

Soup bowls
I've been looking for larger bowls and these fit the bill.
I'll be using them over Christmas.
They aren't the most convenient as far as fitting in the dishwasher

Fantastic Bowls

Great for Parties
I use this item a lot for large parties. Good for salad, pasta salads, etc. I would highly recommend, very durable and chip resistant.

Great serving pieces
Square shaped bowls fit more easily on the table -- so I can fit more food in! The white goes with absolutely everything and lets the meal speak for itself. Easy to clean, easy to store. Yes, they're heavy, but that's what I WANT in a substantial serving dish. I have these in every size.

Great bang for your buck
As some other commenters have mentioned, this bowl is quite large - larger than I expected but I love it! It's been useful for larger gatherings where you need a bowl of substance.
And the shape is awesome - I love some traditional elements, but the clean lines of a square bowl are timeless.
I liked this way better than some other square bowls on the market.
It's fairly heavy, but thankfully I've never had to carry it more than about 10 feet when it's full.

Incredibly Versatile
Great serving bowl that you can dress up or dress down. I've used this for everything from chips to fruit salad to Thanksgiving stuffing. Would recommend it in a heartbeat.

Love this serving piece!
I purchased this bowl online and was very pleased when it arrived to find how heavy and solid it is. I use this piece primarily for serving pasta and it always holds a ton- perfect for summer parties and big dinners with the family!

Surprisingly useful
The large (11"?) bowl is great to add a little interest to a same-old meal. Great for putting together big salads or serving nearly anything. Heavier than you think it is but pretty tough. On close inspection it's not perfectly square - some imperfections give it a handmade feel - but that just adds to the interest of the piece.

Generous size
When I received this serving bowl in the mail it was in mint condition. I was very impressed with the size. It was bigger than I thought which was ok with me. It was also heavier. If you're wanting a lightweight serving bowl this may not be it but if you want something that'll stay on the table I recommend this one! It fits so perfectly on the "Hot" trivet SKU: 110071
It'll match our square dish set great!

Nice Bowls
Bigger than you think, heavy but nice. I like them for stew but also are big enough to be used as serving dishes.

LOVE THEM!
