So Hand-y!
I've used these for serving and tossing salads and they are so wonderful! They are so comfortable in your hands and the wood is beautiful. Be sure you hand wash them, the wood will spot in a dishwasher.

Good Product, but..
I get constant compliments on these wooden salad hands. However, mine came with a 'nick' in the wood so one of the hands catches on my clothes and hands while using it. Overall great product, but I'd buy in the store rather than online so you can inspect them for similar issues.

Smart design
Salad hands are fun. They allow you to toss a salad in a few quick strokes, and you feel like you are holding a big set of wooden hands. After receiving these from our registry, I will never go back to the lengthy, traditional salad utensils. The smartest thing about these salad hands are the pegs on the back of each one to prop it up in the salad bowl. No more dressing coated serving utensils! Now that's brilliant design!

Broken!
I purchased the bamboo salad 'hands' as a wedding present, as indicated on the gift registry of the recipient. When I received them in the mail, they well packaged and wrapped in bubble plastic, but there was a big chip off one of the tines of one piece. I called the Crate and Barrel 800 number, and was assured that there would be another set sent to me immediately. The lady on the phone was very helpful, and kind, reassuring me that I needn't send back the broken set. Within a quick couple of days, I received the replacement set...YAY! But when I opened the package, the new set included another piece with a large chip off one of the tines. (The broken chip was in the package, as well). Not presentable as a gift! So, I chose the intact 'hand' of the previous set, combined with the intact 'hand' of the new set, rewrapped the intact set with the rattan ribbon, and gave this. It was a satisfactory solution, but I told the recipient of the gift, to watch for possible further breakage in any salad she might serve! If this is a common complaint about this product, there are safety issues which should be addressed... if perhaps the product is not acceptable for use... too fragile a material, etc. Thank you for prompt service. but I hope a review of the product is forthcoming!

Like a second pair of hands!
These salad servers are the most
wonderful invention. Not only are they
beautiful, but they are the most
efficient way to serve salad that I have
ever used,--much better than the
traditional fork and spoon servers.
I have used others of this type, but
none are as nice. Where others slip
down into the bowl and become
covered with oily dressing, these have
a little knob on the back that fits over
the edge of the bowl and keep them
from slipping down. It is as easy to
serve salad as if you were using
your own two hands, but much more
sanitary, of course. I love them so
much I have given them as gifts, and
the recipients love them also. Thanks,

cool, functional, eco-friendly
These salad claws are so easy to use - no spilling salad on the tablecloth - and they look great. I love that they are renewable bamboo, and they show no wear after heavy use over four months. All of my guests have asked where I got them!

I almost ordered a different set, but then saw these. Glad I did! Generously sized, and hubby likes them too. Makes salad more fun!

I enjoy these
These salad tossers are fun! I can handle these better than traditional salad tossers. They pick up a good amount of salad compared to the traditional ones. Received these as a gift for our wedding so when I opened the box and looked at them, one of the tongs were chipped. CB had no problem replacing them for me.

Love these!
These are fun to use! I like them better than regualr salad servers and it's cool that they have knobs on the back so they rest on the side of the salad bowl, if the side wall of the bowl is thin enough. I have had them for awhile and they still look nice.

Fun serving tool!
First off, I love that these are made of bamboo; they're classy and I love the color of the wood. These are great for dinner parties. My only complaint is that they are a little akward to use. The plastic scissor type works a little better, but these are by far much better looking :-)

Versatile salad servers
These bamboo servers are very well-made- and have a nice finish, so they are smooth to the touch. I've found that they work with several different styles of salad bowls- from bamboo to ceramic to glass. The little knobs on the side of the hands are great for keeping them suspended on the side of the bowl.

Got these last year for an outdoor BBQ party... they are amazing. I love the styling, they are a little different than most salad tongs, and they get tons of attention. My guests loved the control that they got using the salad hands. They was not any dropping of salad fixings as people dished up their plates. They are designed so they will not fall into the salad bowl either... and the are small, with no long handles hanging out of the bowl. Win-win.

Very nice
These are great salad "hands!" For some reason I am very picky about salad tongs and had never found any that I liked until these. They are also unique and often serve as a conversation point for my guests.

Everyone loves these!
These were given to me as a gift from a friend. She had received them and loved them. They are the best way to toss and serve a salad. As a result, I have also given them as gifts, great for a shower or Christmas!
