Beautiful Platter!
I love this platter. It is great for cakes, fruit, cheese and crackers...so versatile! It looks great for formal occasions, but it's not too fancy to be used at a casual meal either.

Nice Dessert Serving Plate
Like the last review, I too needed to replace a broken glass cake plate that I had had for years. This was perfect. Large and flat for cakes and tarts but still fits in my cabinets but equally useful for appetizers. Makes a very nice presentation the crackle design adds interest without taking away from the food.

Versatile and useful product
I purchased this platter to replace a favorite wedding gift cake plate which broke and which I used very frequently throughout the years. I wanted it to be glass with some sort of design and this works perfectly. I have used this to serve desserts, appetizers, sandwiches, antipasti, and composed salads. It goes through the dishwasher well and is a good size. The "crackled ice" design adds interest while still allowing the piece to work with a variety of table setting styles. It has been a good replacement for the broken cake plate.
