Beauty and Brawn
The Claire set was on our wedding registry - we ended up purchasing most of the set ourselves and LOVE it. I love the modern flair, the timeless quality, and the overall demeanor the the set. The only thing I wish was that there were more serving pieces to go along with the set. Right now it's displayed in my china cabinet, and I get compliments on it all the time. Beautiful set.

Must see in person
The pictures online don't do this dinnerware justice. We registered for these dishes for our wedding and are thrilled with them. The embossed design is simple and elegant without distracting from the presentation of the food. We love that we were able to find beautiful china that is microwave and dishwasher safe. We have used them for both daily use and for formal events. I also love the serving pieces we have purchased to compliment the set. These dishes are very versatile, you can change the decor of the table and the room around them in just about any way you can imagine and they will still look great. I can see myself still being happy with this choice on our 50th wedding anniversary!

A Special Dinner Party
I purchased a set of 12 + dinnerware. The look is simple, classic yet elegant. I love the circles on the plates which are a nice touch that make the dishes a little more special than just plain white. They work well with a special event or for entertaining your good friends. They came in handy for holiday parties this past season.
I like that they are good looking but can be put in the dishwasher. I was pleased that C & B takes such care in wrapping the products for mailing. Everything arrived in perfect condition.

Timeless, beautiful, practical
I have been married for 32 years and have never wanted fine china, until I saw the Claire Dinnerware. I just fininshed purchasing the entire set including all the serving pieces. Have been using most of the items for over a year. They are elegant and classy for formal dinner parties, but yet I use them every day because they are significantly lighter than my old stoneware. I have used them in the microwave and dishwasher without a problem. They look perfect after a years use.

Love Love Love
We registered for the Claire setting for our wedding. The pieces are absolutely beautiful. I was nervous since it is 'bone china' for everyday, but they are very durable. They look brand new everytime they come out of the dishwasher. The low bowl is great for salads. The smallest bowl is perfectly portioned for a little bowl of ice cream after dinner.

Best China Ever!
We registered for this set of china for our wedding registry and we absolutely love it! It is timeless and truly beautiful!!! We liked that not only was it something that would never go out of style, but it was dishwasher and microwave safe!!! If your are looking for china that will stand the test of time and not look dated in a few years, this is a great buy!!!

I love these plates!
I love these plates. They cost more than most, but they haven't chipped at all and are easy to wash. I have dinged them several times, but they are still perfect. They have a great finish and always come out of the dishwasher looking clean.

Beautiful!
We registered for this set for our wedding in July 2011. Its simple design is great for every day use, but elegant enough to use for more formal dinners. The dinnerware itself is very lightweight, which can be good and bad. For fine dining, I prefer my plates have a little more heft, but it makes clearing the table and carrying out plates a breeze.

Love this dinnerware
We registered for this dinnerware for our wedding in July 2007 and absolutely love it. We have the 5-piece settings, with the low bowl, and its one of our favorite pieces. Great for salads, pasta, soups you name it. The finish has held up great for occasional use (2-3 times a week). I like the delicate shape of the cups and they're a nice change from our everyday mugs (also a C&B pattern).

Good Value, too small for cereal
Purchased a number of plates from Claire Dinnerware pattern for a small office. The dinnerware looks and feels more "expensive" than it is, and matches very well with a contemporary decor while still being conservative enough. These bowls are nice, but definitely very small, too small for cereal or morning fruit. They might be nice for dip, olives, tea bags, etc.

Beautiful, but did not last
I loved almost everything about this set and bought the square plates as my everyday dinnerware since they were dishwasher, microwave and oven safe, although I never used them in the oven.
I noticed cracking in the glazing about a year and a half in. It was on the corners then my large dinner plate had a huge crack through the center, making it unusable. Shortly after a small plate cracked severely in a similar fashion. I can see they all have hairline fractures in the glazing.
I plan on returning these and will probably choose to go with something else. These are just too expensive to be breaking from regular use.

Unfortunately, don't recommend
My husband and I registered for this set when we got married in June 2008, and although we love it's simple lines, it has not held up well over time. A few weeks ago, the plates started crazing - to the point where large cracks have formed and broken some plates and bowls in half. We're seriously considering returning all the pieces to Crate and Barrel and picking out something else because we can tell this set isn't even going to last us out the year. For bone china and one of the more pricey sets that Crate and Barrel carries, a real disappointment.

This was to replace my everyday dishes and so far Im loving it.Clean lines,beautiful design.Perfect for any ocasion.I just bought other cereal bowls( The small bistro bowls)because the ones from this set are too small.Other than that I love it!

High quality and elegant
I am continually amazed at the quality of these dishes.
We've had them for over two years now and use them as our everyday dishes. I seem to break a lot of dishes but these are so sturdy! No chips, no cracks - and only one broken dish in 2 years. They are also very elegant and I would recommend them to anyone.

The perfect set of china...
I love my Claire china that I registered for our wedding last year. I have had the dishes for a little over a year now and they are holding up nicely. These dishes look nice dressed up for a dinner party and for everyday. Both my husband and I had our grandparents fine china so there was no sense in registering for more. We only needed an "everyday" set and this is the perfect set! You won't be disappointed. They have held up well in the dishwasher and are not easily broken ( I have not broken one piece yet) and not expensive to replace should you break a piece. I love the simple yet elegant design too.

Beautiful quality
My only complaint is that the cup and bowls are way too small. We went with larger bowls not in the set and different mugs. I know we'd never use these tiny cups. I use the square platters as plates - nice change to the round ones.

Great Flexible China-
We received this china as a wedding gift and have found it to be perfect- delicate but sturdy and suitable for everyday use or more formal occasions. We especially like the salad plates printed with subtle yellow flowers- a very nice touch to a beautiful set. Our only regret is that his set does not have a suitable deep bowl (cereal bowl). We highly recommend this set!
