enjoying the product so far
I have enjoyed this mixer so far. However, I am always cautious with each use as I am afraid of losing the small cap and/or the handle/mixer to break. So far so good though. . .so I am hopeful that it will continue to work for me.

Love it!
I love homemade dressings and this makes it so easy to create, use and store. It cleans up easily in the top rack of the dishwasher. I'm so happy I found and purchased it!

Good for Vinaigrettes
I love the recipes on the side for some inspiration. Works perfect for a vinaigrette dressing which is all I use it for. For the price, it can't be beat.

Couple flaws
I made a vinegarette last week in in mixer last week. It did a great job of mixing and the dressing turned out great. Better than when I just shake it in a container. BUT this container is impossible to wash. I do not have a diswasher and have to hand wash everything. The oil sticks in the inside and it is impossible to get a washcloth inside to really get it clean. Also, as many others have said the spout cap is very small and will be very easy to to lose.

Useful
This is a useful kitchen item and a very attractive design. Agreed with a previous review that the opening is a bit small (but that's part of the attractive design.) I haven't had any issues with breakage yet, and it seems quite sturdy, so no comment on this issue yet. Overall, I'd recommend.

Enjoyed this product so far...
Used this a couple of times, so far I am very satisfied. The only thing is the cap is really small and seems pretty easy to lose. If you lose it you are pretty much out of luck and you dressing will leak everywhere.

Doesn't work too well
There's nothing really special about this product. I get a better result by just filling a bottle half way and shaking it.

Poor Design
We received this as a wedding gift five months ago, and it was long ago thrown in the trash. After a few uses, the stirrer broke under the pressure of adding a little pesto to our dressing. It also leaked from day 1. A good idea, but cheaply made.

So-So Product
The spinner on this is good for very liquid dressings, but for anything with a bit of body it was too weak. It doesn't hold much, and as others have said will leak. The pour spout is very small and the lid is hard to get on and off. It tends to be more mess and fuss than it is worth.

great idea, poorly executed
the lid is hard to get on and remove, the stirring mechanism does not mix dressing, and then when you give up and shake it instead, it leaks and flies everywhere, don't bother

overly complicated and doesn't work
This product is lousy. It never felt like the top was on correctly and it definitely leaks. Why bother selling the cap if it doesn't prevent spills? I don't think it mixed the dressing ingredients any better than shaking a simple jar.

Broke the 1st time I used it!!!
I had read mixed reviews on this salad emulsifier on another site, but ignored warnings that it broke easily because it just seemed like a great design and I also liked that it has recipes on the side. I was determined that if I just used it carefully, it would be fine. The very first time I used it I carefully made sure I had the top on right and squeezed the trigger once, twice, and then it broke so that no matter what I do, the little stir stick does nothing at all. I took it straight back and got the salad dressing bottle with stirrer. It may not be as fancy, but at least I know it's not going to break the first time I use it! My only other note about this mixer is that, as the other reviewer mentioned, the little cap is tiny and I imagine would be easy to lose.

Great overall, but lid is too small
I've owned this for about a year. I bought it to make/store oil and vinegar salad dressing. Overall, it works really well, but the tiny white lid that covers the spout is...well, very tiny. It has to be sitting "just right" to fit back on the spout and I've dropped it several times when trying to wash it - no fun digging in the disposal or under the counter. Also, the larger lid does not screw on easily. You have to have it sitting in just the right spot for it to fit. Mostly, I'm happy with this purchase, because it does mix the oil and vinegar, but I'd love it if they came up with better lids.
