Love this!
I love the way the ear of corn fits in the dish and that the butter doesn't spill out as it melts! Gave these as part of a wedding gift too!

used for 10+ years
Form and function really work here. Not only do they attractively present an ear of corn, I use them also to cook the corn in the microwave (2-3 minutes). Hot dogs take 1-2 minutesand then I put them in the buns for 15 seconds to warm the buns. I serve them in the same holders. I really enjoy multi-use kitchen equipment.....thanks.

cute and functional
Growing up, we had plastic corn dishes for corn on the cob. These do what they are supposed to do - keep the butter on the corn, not all over your dinner plate. And, they're much more attractive than the green plastic ones I was familiar with.

Nice, sturdy corn on the cob plates
Very nice looking and sturdy glass corn on the cob plates! Came well packaged, no worries about breaking. Just wish they were a tad longer.

Does not work for the intended purpose!
I am very disappointed in these dishes and would not purchase them again. I recommend the other style offered with a flat bottom and open ends. (I didn't buy those in the first place because I didn't want the yellow color.) The shape of this dish is too small to hold a full ear of corn with picks. The bump in the one end made it so that you could only use one pick and the corn was not able to sit down in the butter properly.

Corn Dishes
I have a set of these myself and thought they would make terrific gifts. They have. The recipients were so pleased because they are so company-worthy and a classy way to serve corn on the cob.

These are too small
There corn dishes don't work in an ideal way. They are too small. You want the corn to sit flat in the dish, so you can roll your corn in melted butter. These don't allow you to do that, because of the shape of the bottom. Look elsewhere for better corn dishes.

Surprisingly beautiful
The picture of these glass dishes do not do them justice. They are beautiful and would look pretty with even a formal setting. They are nice and deep unlike so many corn dishes on the market and they are very sturdy. No worries about tipping them over and melted butter spilling out. I love them and am definitely adding more to my current set !!!
