Looks nice, not functional
While the bottle looks very nice, when you try and refill it, the the metal pouring spout will separate from plastic insert and there is nothing you can do to prevent the oiled plastic stopper part from popping down into the bottle. Good luck getting it out - I've tried so many ways to prevent this to no avail. I keep a 'J' shaped bent coat hanger wire handy to retrieve the stopper as I've never been successful getting the stopper out before it pops into the bottle.

Bad topper
Unfortunately, like other reviewers, I love the look and the function, but the top spout of the bottle gets separated from the plastic insert piece. I returned it once for a new one in hopes that it was just the one I picked initially. It wasn't :-( I've also tried several types of glue to glue the plastic and metal pieces together to no avail...disappointed.

Problems with refilling & no cap
This product was a gift, and I was delighted when I received it as I love the look and it pours well. Unfortunately the down sides are that it is very hard to refill and there is no cap. I'm finding it hard to pull out the spout part. I can't recommend this product due to those reasons.

Similar Problems
I love the design of the bottle (it is small enough to put in my cabinet shelf), but have had similar problems with the metal spout separating from the rubber part after the first refill. When I tried to remove it, the rubber part was left behind in the neck, and I had to use needle-nosed pliers to retrieve it. I bought the "Drink pourer" as a replacement, and it has worked fine ever since.

Disappointed
I have been looking for the perfect oil drizzler for 2 years. On a trip out of town last month, I found it at Crate and Barrel. Bought it, been using it for a month - LOVED IT - went to refill it the other day and the silver drizzler separated from the plug like many have said. I am now trying to figure out how I can get a new plug. I do not live anywhere near a Crate and Barrel so I am unable to return it. I am very disappointed. This seems to be a defect in the product since many seem to have the same problem reading these reviews.

Best Oil Drizzler I've Used
Like others have said, it is a little difficult to pry the top off to refill the bottle. If you can get past this, its fantastic to use- no problems with the oil seeping out of the sides and a steady stream of oil from the top.

Functional and fun
This oil drizzler is great because the oil comes out in a controlled manner which enables me to use as little or as much as I want. It's really easy to keep on the counter and just give a turn of the pan when cooking... no more reaching up into our cabinets to get down the big bottle of oil. The etchings are a fun design, too!

Hard to Refill, but Still a Good Purchase
The size is perfect to fit to be on my counter without getting in my way. The oil drizzles out cleanly, without any spilling. Some reviewers have commented that there isn't a cap, which is true, but I don't miss it and never even thought about it until I read the other reviews. The one thing that is difficult about this porduct is that the top part gets stuck in the bottle every time I take it off to refill it. With some manuevering, my husband can get it unstuck, but it is definitely annoying. Still, I would recommend this bottle necause of the clean pouring.

Just What I Was Looking For
I just needed a simple white/clear oil bottle that was easy to refill, matched my bright white dishes, and that wasn't too enormous or too small in size. Additionally, the etchings give this bottle a nice unique style that complements my kitchen decor.

Don't recommend
The top doesn't come off easily, the silver part separated from the stopper when pulling out. I had to return mine before being able to use it because the stopper got stuck in the neck of the bottle.

Just Right -- No drips just DRIZZLE
I get exactly what I want on my Ciabatta bread every time without a mess and with no waste of oil. I like it.

Oil Drizzler
It's attractive, affordable plus this dependences the correct amount of oil for each usage however as stated the only draw back is no storage cap for the spout.

OliveOil
I bought these because I was tired of reaching for the big bottles of oil.....these are great. I bought three and I've filled them with olive oil, sesame oil and peanut oil....nice complement to the kitchen decor.

Very pretty... but
The size was much smaller than I would have liked and I also wish there was some sort of cover or lid to the pourer spout.

Dripless Oil Drizzler
My husband actually purchased this item as he was tired of the drips and runs from our previous oil "bottle" every time he poured from it. He's elated each time he reaches for the bottle. It was a great find on our last visit to San Francisco in February. Now I'm buying a Drizzler for each of my children since they were envious when they saw ours.

First Oil Drizzler
This is the first time I have started cooking with olive oil and needed something easier to keep it in. I have to say I've noticed no staining or discoloration. It's so pretty, I'm really glad I got it.

Fun but not with flaws
I loved this oil pourer because its so interesting and classic. However, the etched glass stains a little with the oil and I dont love that there isnt a top. Otherwise the large spout makes for easy pouring and it is dishwasher safe which is always a plus
