Good choice
I purchased this pad for under a high traffic LR rug, and I'm not disappointed so far. I have only had it about a month, so I can't really judge wear yet, but it seems to be thick and durable. I know someone had mentioned it having an odor, but we have not found that with our purchase.

Worst Rug Pad EVER!!
I purchased this rug pad to protect my wood floors from the runners, area rugs for my kitchen (2), and for the 8x12 rug for our living room. After 8 months of use, the pads broke down and STUCK to my wood floors. Granted they were high traffic areas, but the one in the formal living room is not, and I had to purchase the felted pads for that area. It took me 4 hours on my hands and knees to clean and pull up the deteriorated material. I would NOT recommend this pad to anyone, NOR wil I purchase this one again.

Finally a great rug pad
I purchased this rug pad and I am very glad that I did. I love the quality and eco-friendliness. I am sensitive to chemical odors as I have intrinsic but not allergic asthma and I have had no problem with this pad. I've been searching for a pad of this quality and price because they protect your floor and most importantly your rugs. I am going to buy more to put under other rugs and replace the felt like rug pads that I have now. I definitely recommend this product.

Excellent Choice
I have purchased this rug pad twice. The first time I ordered it I was very satisfied and when needed another, ordered it again. The cushion is the thickness I was looking for and is quality. I have not detected an odor - as I read in someone elses review.

if you are sensitive to odors, think twice about this pad. gives off a chemical smell
