Best choice
After 25 years of operating a child care business, our kitchen chairs were beyond fixing; inserting new screws or regluing no longer worked. Since having ten active children in my home everyday is the main reason I put off purchasing new furniture, my deciding factors for buying Felix chairs was: there aren't any rungs to break and they can be easily dismantled for repainting. The only problem with my purchase was I received the chairs from the warehouse without the hardware. The manager at the Galleria store made sure I had what I needed within a few days.

Good Chairs
Got these chairs for my dining room table. Fairly easy to put together. I agree with another reviewer that the bolt covering on the underpart of the chair could be a better color, but overall, there are a great value, comfortable chair. And the color is really nice.

Good item - Needs Assembly
The item is beautiful and can be put together relatively quickly, but it would be nice to have somebody assemble it or to find out when the item is going to be delivered before it is.

Nice contemorary chairs
Pretty easy to assemble, and haven't had any problems in 6 months.

sturdy and reasonable
We purchased these chairs and the span gateleg table as a more child friendly replacement for a tall bistro table and barstool chairs. The chairs were quick to assemble and are actually quite comfortable. There is a little bit of 'give' in the back and the legs are slightly flared outwards, making them very stable.
One cosmetic detail that is hard to see in the online photo: there are white plastic brackets which help attach the chair legs to the chair base. These are quite visible when looking at the chair from a sitting position not far away. A higher end design might have found a better construction workaround - the brackets look a bit awkward.
One other reason we got this chair is that we live in an extremely small house, and it stacks. I would not recommend sitting on the chair if stacked though. And the higher the stack, the less well aligned the upper chairs become. So...they stack, but not in the most compact manner possible (again, partly due to the leg and bracket assembly I think). Stacking is going to be only for storage or getting them out of the way.
Bottom line - If you are after a very streamlined look this chair might not be for you due to seeing the brackets and not stacking compactly. We are pleased with it though for our purposes, a basic workhorse chair that is family friendly at a good price point.

Wonderful basic modern chair
My husband and I needed chairs to match our modern dining table as well as being versatile, easily stored and relatively inexpensive. These chairs fit all of those requirements as well as being comfortable. A great find!
