Solid, simple, beautiful bed
I have this in king size and am very happy with it. It is extremely sturdy and solid. I really like the clean simple lines. I like that the wood is certified sustainable in theory but I've never actually heard of the organization that certified it and would strongly prefer a certification from the well-trusted Forest Stewardship Council instead.

I Love This Bed
I purchased the Linea Queen bed through the website after visiting a local C&B store in DC and checking out all of the beds in person. I was looking for something with a wood frame and a simple design. This bed is exactly what I wanted. It is solid, well built, silent (some previous reviews stated the bed is noisy), and the wood is beautiful. I think I will have this bed for a long time. I also bought the Linea nightstands to match. Overall I am VERY satisfied with the quality of this bed and have no complaints. C&B customer service was excellent and very responsive as well.

Moved to Europe with me
As someone already mentioned, I too had eyed the DWR walnut version but ended up buying this CB teak version because of the price difference. The material is little more simple but beautiful. I have shipped it to Europe when we moved there last summer and I am glad I did. There is nothing like this possible to buy here. I have the king size plus two nightstands in a relatively small and modern appartment but it doesnt overtake the room. I had to wipe the frame from the reddish dust as well, but appart from that - no complain from my side, just a praise.

Great looking, very solid and fantastic value
I love this bed. It looks fantastic (and much more expensive than it actually is), goes very well in my home, which is decorated with a mix of contemporary and midcentury modern pieces, and is extremely solid. I shopped all over Los Angeles for a bed that was made of solid wood that was under $2,000 and this was, by far, the best value I found. I did have the same issue with the bed being coated in a fine dust that others have reported in their reviews, but after 15 minutes of wiping down the bed with a damp cloth, the issue was resolved. Buy this bed now before C&B realizes they can sell it for $500 more.

Solid, comfortable, great to look at
Extremely comfortable, lovely natural color that furthers the light, simplistic lines of the bed. A good height that was also useful for underbed storage.

I'm in Love with this Bed
In fact, the entire bedroom set is fantastic. The craftsmanship is superb and the solid wood construction makes it very durable. But I'm mostly in love with the styling... I have the bed and two side tables currently and will be purchasing the Four-Drawer Dresser to complete the set.

a beautiful new bed...
We were looking for something that brought the outside in. This teak bed is naturally beautiful and makes the bedroom smell fantastic! The clean lines, grain of the wood and compact size, even though it's a King size, make a great replacement for the oversized Cherrywood sleigh bed that we had prior. There is plenty of room to store items under the bed as well. We love this bed!

Goregous bed
I bought this bed along with the 6-drawer dresser and was really excited for it to arrive. The bed is made of solid teak and is extremely beautiful in person. Pictures don't do this bed justice, as it really looks much better in person.
The wood itself is beautiful. The tone is exquisite.
My one big complaint is that after time, the bed begins to squeak and creak. We've had several Crate and Barrel technicians come out to tighten the screws and even after they came out a few times the bed would always begin to squeak again.
The customer service team was excellent, and even offered to exchange the bed, but we like it so much that we don't want to change it. I just wish there was a way to make the squeaking stop. It's really annoying.
The other issue I have with this piece is that you can accidentally leave water marks on the wood if it becomes wet. I have to be very careful not to lay back with my hair wet otherwise it will leave a discoloration on the wood. Maybe wiping it down evenly with a damp cloth will help but I am scared to make it worse.
All in all, the bed is gorgeous and it is made of a solid sturdy wood. It is a very nice piece and if they can get the issues I mentioned sorted out, then it'd be a "5" in my book.

Love this bed!
We have the Linea Bed, and we love it. The size is perfect in our condo. The wood is beautiful and there is room for storage under the bed -- key component when living in a small space! We purchased this product to replace an old bedroom set that was big and bulky, we saved about 2 feet of space in our bedroom! Excellent buy!

Thrilled!
We purchased the entire set and couldn't be happier. The look is very clean, even DWR is selling a similar style for twice as much. Our only issue is how the teak rubs off on everything including our white sheets and the bunky boards we bought. It is coming out in the wash but it was a lot of updront work wiping things down.

Quality All The Way
You get what you pay for: excellent quality, solid, sturdy, and heavy. It was exactly what we were looking for in a bed. Clean lines, nice natural wood color, and high enough to store things under. We didn't see any fine red dust like some other people mentioned in their reviews. Guess we got lucky or they have since then resolved the issue.

Great purchase
This is a beautiful piece of furniture from an excellent collection. The teak wood is wonderful, unfinished, hard wearing. Even the slat system is made from teak. Everyone who has seen the bed commented on how nice it looks, even those with more traditional senses of style.
It comes in several pieces, the movers had no trouble getting it into my 4th floor Boston walkup.
I had no trouble with "red dust," which was an initial apprehension from reading one of the other reviews.

Beautiful but needs cleaning
I purchased this furniture after months of searching for just the right look. This line was exaclty what we were looking for and is beautifully simple and smaller scale which we needed. The only problem that we had was the red dust that was on every piece of wood in this collection (we purchased 3 pieces). I had not read any reviews on this issue as the collection was fairly new when we purchased it last year. It took literally days to get it off with wet soapy water and vaccuming before we could use it as it stained any clothes and sheets that came in contact with it. Customer Service said they would work with us until we were satisfied and followed up regularly. We were determined to make it work since it took a couple months for delivery and we loved how it looked so we cleaned until the dust was so fine that it was insignificant.
I personally felt like with that much investment in a product and the quality you'd expect from Crate and Barrel, it should have come ready to use immediately after delivery. Once the furniture was able to be used, we were very happy with it.

Solid but a bit rough
This is a nice looking aesthetic piece of furniture, and the wood is very nice and solid but the finishing is a bit rough. As people have mentioned with other pieces in the line, the bed was covered in fine red dust from the finish sanding. It took me an hour of vacuuming and wiping with a damp cloth to get it all off before I could make the bed. In a couple of places there were rough patches where there finishing was not done as well as it could have been- there were some splinters-not a big deal since all you have to do is sand it, but when you are paying this much for a piece of furniture you should not have to do all this just to use it.

Solid & stylish
It's refreshing to see actual solid furniture built with responsibly farmed woods. The teak is a very rich looking wood and they've rubbed it with a very tactile finish. We don't get a lot of foot traffic in our bedroom but when someone does see this piece of furniture they comment how beautifully simple and lovely it is.
