Excellent buy
Purchased this sofa back in October 2011, after searching for a sleeper for over a year. The sofa is ridiculously comfortable, easy to fold out, and resists wear well. Would definitely recommend.

Easy Sleeping
We love this addition to our den. It folds out easily and has a surprisingly comfortable mattress, according to our guests. The design of the sofa fits every decor. It is a relatively comfortable sofa to sit on- though somewhat firm. The fabric is indestructible- showing no wear and tear after 3 years.

Love this couch!
I don't understand the negative review for this couch at all- we couldn't be more happy with it; the feather filling hasn't been a problem. Love the color and fabric. We were worried the cushions might be too firm since it was new and also a sleeper, which tend to be less comfortable but the Axis sleeper is not like that at all. The cushions are firm but very comfortable and very durable. The sleeper itself is wonderful and not at all like you're sleeping on a pull-out (no bar down the middle). We looked for a couch for over a year and when we saw this, we knew it was the one- modern lines, large enough to seat 3, and a nice pull-out.

My new favorite
We bought this couch a few months ago, and having lived with it for a little while now, I am quite happy to say that it's amazing. It's completely comfortable, and it's basically impossible not to doze off while chillin' on it. Furthermore, the pull-out bed a preposterously comfortable. No icky springs, just a really good night's sleep. We got the charcoal gray stock plus color and couldn't be happier with it, our friends all compete for a space on it when they come over!

couch potato
I bought this couch about a year ago. It's very comfy and cushy--but also retains it's modern shape. The sleeper's not half bad either.
The only thing I wish is that the back pillows were attachable. They fall over and squish down a lot, but it just means having to plump them back up pretty often. Bottom line--a year later, I'm still happy with the purchase.

Axis Sofa
I heart my Axis sofa! We seached high & low, for months and months. We only want to buy one couch, forever. We seached the web, the stores, and the ads....we sat in so many couches and found nothing, but springs. Then we found it at Crate&Barrel ! Our Axis couch is timeless, comfortable and perfect! The search is over!!!!!

Just OK
My husband and I purchased this sleeper about three years ago. At first, we were in love. The couch looked great and having the sleeper option in our small house was helpful. However, over time, the seat cushions have sunk, big time. We rotated and flipped them every few months, but now we have resorted to placing foam inserts under the cushions to help hold them up. At first glance it still looks good, but without a little help, it looks like a mess.

Wonderful sofa & great for guests!
I love this sofa -- I bought it a year and a half ago. It is perfect for relaxing, lounging about and watching a movie. Even better -- while it is a very deep/comfortable sofa, it was able to fit up my small twisting staircase and through the narrow doors in my apartment. A task that many other pieces could not do!

Axis Queen Sleeper
I'm really not sure piece of furniture the last person reviewed, but it certainly was not the Axis Queen Sleeper. I have owned this couch for over two years and have never had any feathers protruding from the cushions. Also, the back cushions after two years of heavy use still look brand new. I highly recommend this couch. Hope this review helps.

Wow...big disappointment
All you have to do is look at the pile of feathers behind my couch to understand the problem with this sofa. Almost everytime I sit on it I get stabbed in the arm, back, shoulder or whatever with a very sharp stem of a feather from the down filling. I have to pull the feather out and deposit it behind the couch. Also, the back cushions get horribly deformed. We bought this queen sleeper as well as the matching oversized chair. Both have the same problems. Major waste of almost $3,000.
