All the comforts of a king-size bed, tucked inside a plush sofa. An innovative wood frame with built-in 5"-thick high-density foam mattress unfolds and extends all the way to the back of the sofa. The result is a comfortable sleeping surface that's 5" to 10" larger than a conventional sleeper—and it takes up less floor space. When closed and in sofa mode, a storage ottoman connects via an extended cushion to create a relaxing chaise lounge configuration on the left, right, even in the center. Warm neutrals weave up in textural "Driftwood" with a subtle sheen. Sleeper mechanism includes two easy-open reinforced fabric-covered handles and matched deck flap.

Carlton King Sleeper Lounger
Love this sofa! I ordered it in leather, and it is wonderfully soft and feels so good to sit on. I love the fact that the lounge part can be moved to either end or even in the middle. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a sofa. The lounge part is a favorite among our family members and guests always want to sit there. It's beautiful too. I love the fact it is made in America/Texas too.
The lounge cushion needs to go farther back into the back of the sofa though. After it has been sat on, the material made to go under the back cushion shows even though it is situated exactly as it should be. I still love the sofa.

Substantial Piece
This king-sized sleeper lounger (made by American Leather) is unique in that AL does not carry this product in the regular product line (loungers only go up to queen-size).
The sofa and sleeper are both comfortable and met our expectations. The back cushions have tabs to attempt to hold them in place but do tend to pop out - not a big deal though. The seat cushions do seem a little soft after a little use but only time will tell if they lose their form.
Overall, the sleeper can sit 4 adults in a pinch and two can make use of the lounger (it you want to). The piece is very heavy and needs to be in an area that can support its "presence".
