Chameleon of a couch
Buying your first couch is a landmark. So at 27, moving into my own place, I wanted to make sure I bought a couch that was current, handsome, and timeless. This fit all those requirements very well. It's comfortable, compact enough for for small NYC apartment, yet spacious enough for me to stretch out with a special someone for cuddle time. It's also very versatile, decorationally speaking, which is important for me. My living room started off being more masculine and clean, but I couldn't help myself and it turned into a big cooky mess, but the couch still fits in!

Great sofa
I LOVE how this sofa looks. It really updates our entire living room, and it is really clear how good the quality is, compared to our last sofa. I do wish that the covers were more durable, and could be washed - I find myself freaking out about anyone being near this couch with food/drink/anything less than scrubbed and sterilized hands, so hopefully it stays nice for many years, but would have been nice to also be able to just toss the covers in the machine if needed. Still, looks great!

Beautiful couch!
I recently ordered this couch and absolutely love it! The fabric and construction are both top notch. I also have to compliment the home delivery service who not only set up the couch but also removed the packaging debris.

Gorgeous!
My husband and I purchased this couch and the matching chair for our family room. We chose to have it upholstered in custom fabric to go with the rest of our home. It's an absolutely gorgeous couch and we get lots of complements. If you choose to purchase, be diligent in flipping the cushions often to keep them firm.

great couch, great service
I did a lot of shopping around before I got this couch about 6 months ago, and have been very pleased with the decision. The level of customer service was great- Norm in the soho store helped me out, called to check on it and everything. The delivery people were nice and very professional, right on time. The first couch delivered to me had a little flaw in the stitching, many people woudn't have worried about it but I called in and they were happy to replace it, and brought another couch right away, no worries! Anyway, it's comfortable and stylish and holding up well.

Our first sofa

Worth Reviving
The look sold me. Then it moved in and I had a brief period of buyer's remorse. The fact is that this classic style is more rigid and upright than the slouchy shape I'd grown accustomed to. After a few months and a few perfectly coordinated C&B throw pillows, however, it finally feels just right. Another bonus for my small apartment: when I remove the back cushions, the seat surface is generous enough to double as a surprisingly comfortable guest bed.

LOVE THIS SOFA
Bought this sofa for our vacation home in Florida, checked it out first at the store in Toronto and then ordered it online. You would think it is nerve racking to order something like this online but the entire transaction and delivery went smoothly. Highly recommend to all that you use Crate and Barrel online to purchase items for your own home. You won't be disappointed.

Simple elegance
We purchased this piece for a small living room. We have 2 active boys and a dog, and close to one year now, the sofa still looks as beautiful as the day it was delivered. It is comfortable, easy to clean, and really just makes the room... We love it so much that we purchased the leather petrie chair to accompany it. This is our favorite room in the house, and its really because of the beautiful furniture!

Adorable but unfortunate
I bought this sofa and absolutely loved how it looked! Super cute in my apartment but after 6 weeks the seams on the cushions had split in three places. My husband and I were not hard on the sofa at all and were really disappointed with the wear. At least CB was super nice about returning the sofa and picking it up.

Nice looking (initially) but not very comfortable
I bought this couch and two matching chairs three years ago. Over the last two years the buttons have come off - C&B is happy to fix it if I take it in to a store. Secondly, I have the dark brown. If you try to clean it with water, it fades a little. The fabric also stretches and is just not that great of quality. My son weighs 210 lbs and likes to plop down on the couch, well the back leg is all wobbly and I have to straighten it all the time. What I'm trying to say is that for the price, the stuff is not that well made. (it also sags a little after only three years). The couch is really deep so you need to prop yourself with pillows if you're sitting for any length of time.

Great Couch, But shows Pet hair
I love this couch. Love the way it looks.
Other reviews (I don't know why they aren't showing up now) made me concerned about the buttons but it's been a month or so and mine are still fine. It's comfortable and beautiful. The only bad thing is my dog loves it too and getting the hair off is very difficult.
