Wonderful Chair
I bought this chair in-store, so I didn't have to worry about not testing it out in person prior to purchase. It didn't disappoint! The style goes with so many different decors, and the neutral color (I bought the gray) works with everything. On top of that, it is a comfortable chair and is wide enough to feel very spacious. For reasons of both style and function, I recommend this chair.

Love it!
Purchased this chair and ottoman to replace my dad's most comfortable, cushy old leather chair that did not work at all in our mid-century modern ranch house. The styling is perfect and I was willing to forgo a bit of cozy comfort for style (a first for us!). But imagine the surprise when we found the chair to offer an amazing level of style AND comfort. It's now EVERYone's favorite chair!

Perfect Chair!
After getting our hands on the Petrie Apartment Sofa and ottoman, we had to complete the set with the chair. We got it in the stock color: snow.
Comfort: this chair is much more comfortable than meets the eye. My first assumption was "oh it looks so modern, how could that be comfortable?" Little did I know it would be one of the most comfortable chairs I've sat in (and I can fit in it with the wife!). Add the ottoman and you've got quite the oasis.
Looks: it makes our living room grab all the attention. It has such a modern look to it that you can't not stare at it all day.
Needless to say the wife and I are thrilled we purchased this chair, the aesthetics and the comfort greatly justify the price we paid for it. I've also heard it is super stain resistant. Hopefully we won't be testing fate on that one, but it came with a nice brochure with care and cleaning instructions just in case!
If you're thinking about getting this chair, by all means do it! It rocks!

Petrie Chair and Ottoman
This chair is classic "Mad Men". Takes me back to my childhood. I got it upholstered in Poppy, and it looks great in our house. Just the right pop of color, and surprisingly light weight considering the size. I'd have gotten the matching sofa if I hadn't already had one! Great chair and ottoman!!

Great
We love this chair, have it in navy to complement the grey Petrie sofa. It is comfortable yet looks clean and classy. Recommend it highly.

Love this chair!
I bought the Petrie chair in the color Summer. I was a little nervous since it's it's bright - but it's just bright enough. I love to curl up in it and read - it is the perfect size for someone with long legs like me... I'm only 5'8" but my legs are ridiculously long for my frame.
The fabric feels sturdy but not rough - something important to me. It's also stain treated... but I'm lucky enough to have not tested that property yet. I fell in love with the leather version in store, but felt the fabric was good enough for my teacher budget. I've had it around a month and I am still obsessed with it. The ottoman is huge, so while I wish I had the space for it, I'm glad I opted for just the chair... especially since it is so perfect to curl up in.
