Very expensive scratches easily but I that is part of the charm. I love the butterscotch color. Extremely comfortable.

Wonderful sofa
We just got the full size and it looks beautiful in our apartment, which is modern, clean with oak floors. The cushions are firm but also plush and will last a long time. Very classic, elegant couch.

Beautiful sofas!
Our sofas were delivered today and we are very happy with the quality and the design. It looks very clean and contemporary. I would definitely recommend these sofas. We ordered Monday and they were delivered on Sunday. Delivery was fast and they were done in 8 minutes.

just love it
We have 2 little boys and were nervous about buying a new couch. We wanted something stylish & had easy care. We are so happy with our decision. It is not only beautiful in our home but has cleaned up well(with lots of sticky hands in the house).

Best purchase !
I moved into my first new home this past year. I went everywhere looking at furniture, especially sofa's. Crate and Barrel was the first place I looked and after several weeks . . . where I came back full circle !
I loved the sofa from the moment I saw it. It's classic with a modern feel. I went with the 96" longer version. Its great to be able to sit 3 people comfortably and two people can lay without it being overly crowded. A fantastic purchase !!

Modern sofa
I have had my Petrie sofa for over three years, and I am still very happy with the purchase. The sofa is large (long enough that I can lie down on it without touching either end) and comfortable, with clean modern lines. The only flaw is that the cushions tend to get flat if I do not flip them frequently enough.

perfect
limited space was the problem, the availability to purchase a well made apartment size sofa made things so much nicer to make this space work. the retro look and feel was perfect for the look we wanted for this small sitting room. Purchase and delivery went flawless.would recommend this to anyone..

5 Years with the Petrie
My husband and I saved up after we were first married to buy this lovely-looking sofa and have now had it for five years. The frame is still in perfect shape; however, the buttons and fabric have seen better days. After about 6 months the first button popped off, and as of today there are a total of 4 missing buttons. It's so disappointing! I've had friends with the Petrie who have the same exact problem. And they are not easily just put back in. Obviously a major design flaw to keep in mind when looking to purchase the sofa.
I hesitate to give it my full endorsement, but I can endorse it for the strength of its frame, its size, its comfort (though the buttons do dig in to you, it's otherwise quite cushy and deep), and, most of all, its style. I would probably recommend it with no hesitation if it were going to be a couch that only receives light use.

Fantastic Sofa
I purchased and received my sofa approximately a month ago and am very happy with it. The turn around time was good, delivery a breeze and the men who brought it were great. My reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the fabric. I have the graphite, it appears much lighter then the swatch would lead you to believe, which is a good thing. The real problem is my two cats. They have thankfully not taken to it but I could foresee catching with claws. Secondly it seems to attract a small amount of passive cat hair which is quite visible. I anticipate this will cut way back after shedding but it is not something I anticipated. Other then that beautiful, stiff seat that is surprisingly comfortable and real easy to nap on.

Love it!
This couch is stylishly classic and more comfortable than any other mid-century modern sofa design that I tested. The color options are great, the couch was ready weeks ahead of schedule and the delivery was seamless. I love this sofa!

great couch!
this couch is super sturdy and we LOVE the color. it's exactly like we expected - it's pretty deep, making it comfortable for such a structured design. we bought it in graphite and i can tell that the fading fabric might be a problem (which i read on other reviews) but it's prefect for us right now and when we can afford it in leather i'm sure we will make the upgrade! :)

LOVE this sofa.
We bought this sofa to fit our mid-century modern house, and I have to say, it's gorgeous. We were a little concerned that it would be too stiff, but it's actually very comfortable. Plenty of good naps have been taken on this couch! We also bought the ottoman to go with it, so we turned it into a chaise lounge. That especially helps with the comfort factor. We have two dogs, so naturally, hair is everywhere... but so far, it's been fairly easy to pick up with just a lint roller. Our dogs have pretty much destroyed the shape of every couch we've owned, but this one has remained in tact! Best purchase yet!

Petrie Sofa
Excellent sofa; great customer service; delivered earlier than promised! Only drawback...cushions flatten-out pretty quickly. Sofa has had a lot of use since purchace, but expected the cushions to maintain their volume a bit longer.

Nice sofa, but watch out
I owned this sofa for 5 months now. I read reviews before purchasing this and despite some negative reviews about its comfort, I am satisfied with the comfort. After all, this is not the kind of couch you would lying down on all day or have a friend crash in your apartment. For a few hours of seating and moderate lying down, it has been working well for my family. The design goes without saying and it is perfect for my mid-century living room.
I do warn you, though, to watch out for dye from pillow. I got a very nice orange print linen pillow to accent my white sofa and after a few days I noticed that it dyed the sofa fabric. This sofa comes in reverse-able cushions, so it won't be too big a problem. But after all, it is a white sofa I wanted so I have no choice but to be careful with soils (which I did get quickly) and dye.

Great Sofa!
This is a nice looking sofa. It has a retro 1960s look to it but is also modern looking at the same time. I have a bad back and it is very comfortable to sit in. I would highly recommend it. It looks great in our entryway living room. We bought the grafite color and it is a good neutral color.

Great Looking Sofa - comfy too!
I have been eyeing this sofa for years and finally pulled the trigger and bought it this January. I love the look of the sofa and would have loved to buy the white but decided on gray so we can avoid stains. At first it was very firm but over the past 2 months it's started to break in. It's nice and wide for napping and the pillows stay in place. I have not had an issue with the buttons catching on my clothes or poking my butt. The pillows seem to stay shapely as well but it is only 2 months old so who knows what will happen.
Overall I am very happy with the sofa and am likely going to purchase the matching chair in white next.

Looks Great - Super Functional
This modern sofa looks great in our teenage bonus room. The sofa's clean lines keep the room looking neat and the white color is super crisp. The sofa is firm but comfortable and is used for hours of movie watching. Great buy and great look!
