The Arbor eucalyptus collection is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
The eucalyptus wood used in our Arbor collection is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)—the “gold standard” designation for wood harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally appropriate and economically viable.

The Trovata teak collection is supported by the Tropical Forest Trust.
Crate and Barrel is the first American home retailer to work directly with the Tropical Forest Trust (TFT). Since 2005, we have worked closely with the TFT to ensure that certain hardwoods selected for the production of our furniture are from plantations that are responsibly and socially managed for their long-term conservation. We have worked diligently and are pleased to announce that the teak in our Trovata collection meets all of the requirements of the TFT through the entire chain of custody, from harvest to final production.
