European Handmade Dinnerware
The design for this Crate and Barrel exclusive was discovered in the archives of Krosno, a European glass collective dating back to 1923. Handmade by master glassmakers to the original 1950s specifications, this glass breaks out of a basic silhouette with a square band just below mid-point, lending a low-center-of-gravity look and an inviting handhold. Versatile barware, rendered brilliantly.
A keg-inspired barrel form nods to the craftsmanship of the contents as the glass artistry nods to the tradition of European hand-craftsmanship. Rounded bowl "floats" above tapered shams for elegant enjoyment of sours, fizzes, juleps and more crafty or classic cocktails.
