The Story

This green-minded ironing board promotes a neat appearance now, a clean planet later. Four polished steel legs create an elegant contoured stance, supporting an eco-friendly board. Made from natural plant fibers, the Fibertech® board is biodegradable in 120 to 180 days in a landfill, or two to three years in a field environment. Thoughtfully designed to deliver crisp, wrinkle-free clothes, this folding ironing board is outfitted with matching cotton cover, fixed iron rest, hanger bar and generous surface area to accommodate hefty steam irons.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great board - so long as you measure This ironing board is just what I was looking for. It's not noisy, it is sturdy, and there is a compartment for the iron. Just make sure you take accurate measurements to avoid a headache.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad quality Bought this more than a year ago - the board does not take heat and moisture well.It is now cracked and warped, needs replacing. This is not what you would expect from an expensive ironing board...DO NOT BUY

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Landfill The fibertech material used for the top of this ironing board melted, warped, cracked, and split almost completely across the center within the first month of use under the heat of a common steam iron. !!! Surely someone in the manufacturing of this product would have determined the durability and heat tolerance of this material before mass producing for consumer use ??? This product is a waste of time, money, and natural resources.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Ironing Board Very happy with this purchase. It's the perfect size! It's stable/sturdy and smooth to iron on (I've had problems with ironing boards being uneven & bumpy leaving weird markings in my clothing). Would recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicely Constructed I've had the same ironing board for 20yrs.. it was time for a replacement! The Fiber-tech board is nicely constructed and opens/closes smoothly. I removed the iron rest at the square end of the board - I use the square end of the board and the attachedrest made it unusable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total junk I had this board two weeks, it fell on a carpeted floor while folded up and the entire tapered end of the board shattered. It is completely useless now and will just end up in the landfill. Not worth two cents.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality - Disappointed! I bought this a couple weeks ago and have only used it once. The problem was my fault as the ironing board was leaning on the wall. Unfortunately, it fell on the carpet on top of a shoe. Long story short, the fibertech material cracked into pieces. I would expect an ironing board to fall from time to time but for it to shatter on the first fall is very disappointing. This was my first ironing board and now i have a hole in it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Ironing Board EVER I found this ironing board to be unstable. I returned for refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Replacement for old board Board arrived with little pieces of plastic spilling out of the box. The board surface was already broken when it arrived. Did not like the iron holder at the end because it wasn't retractable-made the board very long. Finally felt very unsturdy on it's legs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sturdy, not too heavy I do like this ironing board. Sturdy enough to handle the job, but not too heavy to handle. I was not sure of having the iron holder on the board, but I found it to be handy. The cover that comes on the ironing board is good quality too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's bigger than I expected It's an okay ironing board. Just make sure you know how big it really is. Our board came with bluish marks on the cover... sigh... now I have to get a cover for it. Otherwise, the metal is nice.
