Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful glass I ordered six of these a while ago and I love them so much I just ordered more so I would have replacements if I broke one or two and also to have a set of eight. They are very elegant in a table setting and can be used for white, red or water. I have read reviews about them being fragile so I am careful with them, so far so good, but as I said I ordered a few replacements just in case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just want I wanted Everyday glasses, but nice enough for guests. Especially like the short stem. Will also use for desserts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty Wine Glasses - Delicate and Doesn't Hold Mu These wine glasses are exactly what I was looking for from a style perspective. However, they are too delicate to put in the dishwasher and break easily. Also, they don't hold much. It's fine for wine but they do not double as water glasses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right! The design of this glass is elegant. But it's not so over-wrought that you'd only think of using it for special occasions. On the contrary, use this glass on an ordinary day--and the day will feel just-enough refined. Special days are special. Ordinary day made special? Not bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pre-20th century style When I saw these French wine glasses at Crate and Barrel, I thought I'd try them since we only buy a particular French wine we enjoy. After enjoying and paying attention to the unique shape, I came to notice them in *every* film that takes place in the 19th century and before. I have a bit of an obsession with literature and film from those early days, so drinking out of these glasses has become a simple pleasure. Note: They are fragile so I handle them with care and handwash them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Size I purchased a set of 8 glasses to use as water glasses for sit-down dinners. They are the perfect size--not too small, not too big. They are simple but elegant and more than serve the purpose. They work as juice cups or wine glass, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful wineglass I had been searching for a similar wine glass for ages and finally discovered this Crate & Barrel version. The glasses turned out better than I could hope for: they're elegant, sturdy, and so well priced. I only hand wash them since the edges are pretty thin. I've had them for about 6 months and haven't had any issues or chips. I love these glasses!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Glasses I bought six of these glasses 6 weeks ago. They are easy to hold, have a good capacity and the fine glass makes drinking from them a beautiful experience. The shape of the glass makes the wine seem to sparkle. I also plan to use them to serve desserts. I have been back to buy 2 more and my husband is also so pleased with them that he suggested we buy more for spares; truly a first!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from lovely style I love these glasses. Good styling. Feels good in hand. However, do not put them in dishwasher. Temperature differential makes them crack all the way around the bowl. I've replaced several glasses until I finally learned my lesson.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Wine Glass, Attractive in Many Uses! I bought 6 of these together 2 months ago and use this glassware daily. They are perfect for wine, and I enjoy using them for iced tea, sparkling juices, and the like. They were also great this past weekend for mint juleps. I love that they dress up even the most simple of beverages. I prefer to hand wash all of my glassware, and they are holding up beautifully. I highly recommend these for an attractive daily and formal wine glass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Glasses. Perfect Size. Perfect Weight. I bought glasses just like these while living in France 15 years ago. As each one broke, I sobbed. My search to replace them kept ending in sadness because either the price was too high or the actual glass was too big and not the look for a casual french country meal. FINALLY, I found them and of course at C&B. The price point is perfect, the quality exceptional, and the packaging superb. They do hold up in the dishwasher, but I hand wash mine most of the time...just because I seem to have bad luck with my dishwasher etching my glasses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reminds me of the glasses Ina Garten uses I bought 12 of these. They are great...and they are delicate but just fine for everyday use. I tend to use them for a evening glass of wine while I prepare dinner.I have also run them through the dishwasher on the top rack and it works out fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, elegant everyday multipurpose glasst I love these glasses! I use them for wine, cocktails (similar in shape to a martini cocktail glass) and juice. I hand wash them because the rim is thin, and I suspect easy to chip - but it just takes a few seconds to wash them and worth the extra little effort for these lovely and inexpensive glasses. I get compliments from my guests everytime I use them. Highly recommend.
