Functional & very stylish
This is exactly what I was looking for in a storage ottoman and matches our other furniture perfectly. I store two large, thick, blankets inside and there is still room for something small. Two small things that did not prevent me from giving this 5 stars: the "cushion" on top is basically rock hard. Also, if you have small fingers & hands the heavy top is hard to flip from the cushion side to the table side, or even to open it.

Attractive and Useful
I am pleased with this purchase. I love the look, it is comfortable at the foot of my bed and sooo practical with the storage and tray capabilities.

Functional and stylish
There are many cheaply made storage ottomans for sale. This is not one of them. It's sturdy with a good size storage space. I rated it 5 stars even though when you sit on it the "cushion" is harder than you would expect and it's hard for me to get the seat/cover off. My husband doesn't have a problem opening it, but I find it hard to grab hold of the cushion and lift. It's not the weight -- its awkward for someone with small hands and short fingers. Other than that -- love it. Looks great and shows no abuse from two big dogs bumping into it from time to time. I have a small afghan, sweater and huge pillow stored inside with space to spare.

Functionality meets style and comfort
We use these for storage, ottomans, coffee table and also extra seating when friends come over. They are on the small side but that gives you more flexibly with how you use them as seats and coffee table/side table. Sitting on them it's pretty comfy and we love the dark brown color! We get compliments on them all the time, and we would buy more if we had the space!

Great function and looks
I bought two of these cubes for my compact living room and they are great! Most of the time I use the tray side of the top as a coffee table but when the family is coming over they act as additional seating. Lastly, they are a great place to stash stuff in a pinch. They are sort of heavy empty so if you plan to use them as storage, then they probably will just need to stay in one spot. Very rich luxurious colors--I got chocolate and now discontinued plum--but wish I had an excuse to buy some of the new colors. Very handy and stylish piece.

Love these
I purchased three of these ottomans for our family room instead of a coffee table. We flip the lids for food and drinks, we store blankets and toys, and we move them around when extra seating is needed.

Great Versatile Piece
I purchased this as a Xmas gift for my daughter and son-in-law to use in their apartment. It works very well as an extra seating piece and the storage truly is a bonus. The lid that flips for dining service is one more plus for this piece. The leather quality is very good and enhances their other living room furniture as well. They are very happy with it!

great piece and use of space
When you don't have space for end tables, these are a fantastic solution! We purchased 4 of these stow cubes, put them together in a square configuration. We turn two over for table tops while the other two serve as a ottoman for our feet! Have storage for blankets for our family of four, great quality and durability, heavy enough so they don't slide while in use, can double as seating for unexpected company! A must have for more than one reason!

Outstanding piece
This ottoman serves as a foot rest, storage bin for blankets as well as a serving tray in our living room. Very good value! The warm brown color blends in well with everything in the room.

Great Ottoman
We purchased this ottoman in chocolate to have an extra side table and foot rest for our loveseat, which has neither nearby. It is the perfect size for our space. Tucks away next to the loveseat and doesn't get in the way of our 3.5 year old running and playing. It's the perfect height for resting feet when sitting on the loveseat and has made a handy end table for drinks when we flip the lid over. The fact that also has extra storage is just a bonus! We love Crate & Barrel products and this one is no different.

Versatile product
We purchased two of the Chocolate ottomans to use between our living and family rooms, as extra seating and/or table space for game day entertaining. The storage is a bonus! Everyday Comfort
Our two ottomans are among the smartest purchases we've made. They compliment our Briarwood loveseat and chairs perfectly and support our feet in style and comfort. We flip the top to serve food and flip again to accommodate more seating when entertaining. People always comment on them. They look great and in our small room, make it so we don't need a coffee table.

Multi-tasker!
These are perfect for a small space where multi-tasking is important. We store extra blankets inside and love being able to flip the top to use as a tray. While easy to push around it definitely has some heft and sturdiness.

Well made and versatile
I bought two as an alternative to a long, rectangular coffee table. They store blankets and other seldom used items, and the reversible lid allows them to double as tables. Much better quality than others I've seen, even more expensive ones.

Awesome for apartments!
We have two of these, they serve as our "coffee table" in our small apartment. Its so nice to have the added storage, and the reversible lid is nice if you want to use it as a table or a seat which we have used these for a seat when we have alot of people over, but we usually just use them as table surfaces.
Great purchase, affordable, and looks awesome with all kinds of styles.
