Very versatile
This is a great looking piece that is very versatile. We bought it to put in my daughter's bedroom and we're using it to store clothes, books and games. It's very easy to assemble, except that the printed instructions were incorrect. After talking with Customer Service, we learned that a newer version was posted online. I assembled this with a friend and all we needed was a phillips screwdriver. I would highly recommend this piece.

cottage charmer
A must have if you're going for the cottage look, or simply want a solidly-constructed, cleanly-designed chifforobe with plenty of space. Adjustable shelves allow one to customize and drawers are big enough to accommodate lots of socks, t-shirts, and sweaters. Assembly is a bit of trick solo, but can be managed. And had to air out the lacquer smell for about a week. Definitely glad I got it as it's proven to be both practical and very easy on the eye.

Great storage and stylish
I bought this plus two night stands and a storage bench of the same design about two years ago. I put them all together by myself with no trouble at all, and they are very sturdy. I like all of the pieces, but the chifforobe is my favorite. Of course, I store tons of clothes in it, but I use the top shelf of the left side for my DVD player. I have a thin screen TV on top, and it is very easy to plug in and hook up the DVD player from the chifforobe shelf when I want to use it. The white furniture has a nice finish and looks clean and crisp in my blue and white room.

Sturdy and capacious armoire
This armoire/chifforobe is a wonderful small linen closet in our bedroom. It's very sturdily built and has a great deal of storage -- we couldn't be happier with it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE
Love this piece! Very sturdy, and VERY heavy. Managed to put it together all by myself (23 y.o. female), but it was tricky, so I would recommend a second set of hands for certain parts. Also moving it assembled would be tricky because it is such a heavy, solid piece, so it may be a good idea to assemble in the same room you plan to have it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is a strong chemical smell and it really does require some out-gassing. I have not yet put clothes in the drawers and have the whole thing open and still airing out. I think wiping down with a damp cloth has helped some. It's a beautiful piece with lots of room. The drawers are a good size for underwear, socks, t-shirts, etc. The adjustable shelves are great for jeans, sweatshirts, sweaters. LOVE IT! Looks wonderful with the rest of the collection

Nice Piece of Furniture
Arrived well packaged unlike some other places I've ordered furniture from. Easy to assemble (did this one myself) and very sturdy. Only drawback is the smell. The first few days I had to keep my windows open. The smell is diminishing now but it's still there after 4 days.

Exceptional Quality
First, there is a considerable amount of assembly that needs to be done--if you are short, not very strong, or not well versed in assembling furniture you will definitely need help! However, that being said, it does go together smoothly--the piece is very high quality. The finished product is beautiful and provides a great amount of storage for folded items like sweaters and t shirts, as well as ample drawer space. Just what you would expect from C & B furniture--I highly recommend this piece!

Perfect cottage style.
This unique piece has tons of charm and goes so well with the other Brighton pieces. They require assembly but are very well-made and look terrific when completed. Love it!

quality and good looks
If you're looking for white, clean, simple quality furniture, this chifforobe is the perfect piece to pair with everything. Our guest room has dark blue walls and all white furniture from a few different furniture companies. But everything goes with this piece. It's high quality at a reasonable price, and it's great for storing linens, towels, etc. Plus, it could transition to a child's room quite easily in the future. Highly recommended.

The Brighton collection is very elegant and its New England style really stands out, especially with yellow/green colors.
I am very happy of the chifforobe in particular because it offers a lot of room and allows to tidy a variaty of clothes (socks & underwear in the drawers as well as sweathers and tops on the shelves).
It is also very solid and does not move when you open a drawer!
Finally, it is a nice pedestal for a big bed lamp or jar of flowers.
I 200% recommend it !
