Porto Bed
Bought the bed about a year ago to put in the spare bedroom and have received nothing but compliments. People love the lines of the bed and side pieces and the comfort of the bed itself. Put a king size plush mattress on it and we were good to go. Actually our happiness with this bed prompted us to go an buy the smaller porto day bed a few months later

Sturdy and Substantial
This bed is beautiful. I didn't like my bed frame and older cherry headboard so I needed a bed that included a frame. The hand-wrought steel is really nice and the color is great, not black, but a deep oil-rubbed bronze color. I read the reviews that it was great for small rooms, and it is, but it's much taller than I thought it would be (I bought it online without seeing it in the store). I had opted for a smaller box spring years ago so my feet would touch the ground when sitting on the edge of the bed, so maybe a full-size box spring would make a difference. I do have European shams and standard shams with my current quilt and it looks great. It fills up the space. If you don't like shams, then this headboard might be a bit high for you. Also, still getting used to brushing the steel in my sleep and jolting myself awake at the sound. Wood doesn't do that. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

We Couldn't Be Happier
I wish you could see the amazing guest room we have designed around our new Porta bed. The airiness of this metal bed is perfect in in this small bedroom. But don't be fooled, just because it is airy and open doesn't mean it is not sturdy. No wiggling or squeaking in this bed, it is rock solid. We couldn't be happier, and neither could our guests!

1ST LARGE & BEST PURCHASE EVER
THE DELIVERY WAS WITHIN THE THE TIME FRAME PROMISED. THE BED FRAME IS BEAUTIFUL, BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS, SINCE THE BED WAS NOT ON DISPLAY AT THE STORE. THE INSTALLATION WAS GREAT, WOULD RECOMMEND TO ALL MY FRIENDS

Love This Bed!
We really love this bed. It's sturdy, high quality, and very versatile. We bought it for our daughter as her first "big girl" bed and know that it will serve her well into young adulthood too. Classic style and you can't beat Crate and Barrel for service, friendly attitude, and helpful, knowledgeable associates.

Stylish, well-made, worth the wait
I have been eyeing this bed for years. Now that I finally own my own home, I 'treated' myself to a new bed. It was easy to put together, even without two people. It would work well in many different décor styles, from contemporary to traditional. The construction is formidable. The style will last for decades. This bed was well worth the wait.

BEST bed ever!
This bed is BEAUTIFUL. I have never had this many compliments on a piece of furniture before. The Porto bedroom set is well made. We have an old colonial house with the square/smaller bedrooms. Every piece of furniture we looked at was too bulky. This was perfect. Its simple and elegant. I couldn't be more happy with our purchase. Just a little bummed we can no longer get the matching mirror.

Looks great, and great value!
This bed seems to be great quality and it looks great. Haven't had any squeaking or movement which I halfway expected from a metal bed. It was easy to put together and I'm 100% happy with the purchase.

Satisfied
I love my new bed. I'm not in a place where I can replace all of my bedroom furniture, so I thought this bed would fit in nicely with what I have and give my room an easy update. It did just that. My next purchase will likely be the bench. I hope they still have the dressers when I'm ready to buy.

First Crate & Barrel Furniture Purchase
This bed was the first C&B furniture purchase I made. I was extrememly pleased with this purchase.
When I originally purchased this bed I elected to NOT purchase the side bed frame pieces as I had already purchased a heavy duty bed frame for my foam mattress. Since the alighment did not match, I ended up having to go back to C&B and purchase the bed frame rails that come with the Porto bed. I would recommend purchasing them from the very start for anyone else making this future purchase. To my surprise, these bed frame rails were very sturdy.

Great simple design
We love this bed! Purchased with other Porto pieces, this bed is great design, with graceful curves, without overwhelming our room. Very sturdy construction, metal finish rich looking and flawless. I would also highly recommend purchasing the matching bench for the foot of this bed - great look! We love it so much we purchased two twin headboards for our daughter's room!

Great Bed
I had been searching for a simple, metal bed for months and came across this one. Since our bed is up against windows, I didn't want to block all the light coming in with a huge headboard and this one was perfect. Very simple and easy to put together and it looks great. Highly recommend.

Perfect Headboard
Great headboard - simple lines, rich color. It was nicely protected in the packaging. Appreciated being able to schedule a Saturday delivery. Did not need a kit to attach to our bedframe.

STURDY!
This is the first piece of furniture I have bought online and I must say I was skeptical but knew Crate and Barrel would provide good product and stand behind their name. I was right. I was concerned this bed would not be "rugged/sturdy" enough but it exceeded expectations. I was also worried that the bed would squeek being metal but it is built so well that there is no worry about squeeking. Well done C&B!

EASY
I love this set - bought it for price, but am really really impressed by the quality! Looks great in our new home. I have to admit, I am a female - and despite the warning that you need two people to put this together.. I was able to put it together myself, after a glass of wine! PERFECT! Love Crate and barrel.

Beautiful bed
So happy with this purchase! The bed is beautiful, sturdy and a fabulous addition to any bedroom. The assembly was simple and the instructions were easy to follow. I love seeing this bed in my room every day!

I really like the look of this bed, but after a month, I'm already seeing some noticable scratches. I'm contacting C&B to see if I can get some touch up paint, but I'd rather not see it getting scratched so easily.

Beautiful Bed
The bed is beautiful and of good quality. The only thing to be improved is to provide assembly instructions. Luckily, I'm relatively resourceful and was able to put the bed together myself without instructions. But if you're not handy you may need some help.
